Bettsj2 Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 Apart from last season then you disabled? I apologise. All of those players mentioned are obviously good enough.
Bettsj2 Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 Leicester are shit then yeah ? No, it's just that they can only be truly competitive when every player is playing at the peak of their ability which doesnt happen too often. Our League finish last year was superb and better than any of us could have imagined. And the reason none of us imagined we'd finish as high as we did is that we all know that the squad as it was, was mid table standard at best.
MattyFromLE Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 Some peoples lack of respect and gratefulness is a absolutely ludicrous! Without his goals, we'd still be littering L1! He might not be fooking Kaka - but he has scored some pretty important goals. For instance; against Cardiff in the P/O semi final...
bigneville Posted 24 August 2010 Posted 24 August 2010 The thing that is really frustrating me with people's opinions is the fact that they are now using history to prove how rubbish he is. When has a striker ever really been judged on what he did 4/5 years ago. Strikers are all about current form, and in the last two seasons, hasn't Matty scored nearly 50 goals? The season's before where every one is judging him, where seasons when the club was in decline, going no where, and playing poor football. However, since Matty was given a clear run in the team in his preferred position, he has scored on average at least 20 goals a season. And thats including being injured for 3 months of one of the seasons. Do believe not believe that since 2007/2008 Matty Fryatt may have improved. Players improve, so lets not worry about what he did at this level 4 years ago, and remember what he's doing now. And for us that has been scoring goals. And if you want to move up through the divisions, you do not sell players who score you goals.

Great goalscorer in League One, not all that in the Championship and when it comes to the big games in this division he is a serial bottler. Why do certain elements of the City support feel the need to passionately defend mediocre players? Is there something missing from your home lives?

Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 CLICK "DJ Campbell should be available again after missing the Leeds game due to illness, and Lloyd Dyer should also return."
Master Fox Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 I fcking hate Leicester fans sometimes. Christ, It’s their blinkered view of players that are clearly shit in comparison to other players at this level. Matty Fryatt is an average league 1 player at best. If you think he’s ‘the man’ to score us goals and fire us into the premier league then you are clearly stupid. This is the typical mind set of are cretin element of fans who used to think players like Hume, Joey and Stephen Hughes were good. For ****s sake people, if you don’t think we can find better players than Matty Fcking Fryatt then I hope you enjoy watching this turd standard of football for another 100 years.
