blue army 1988 Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Yes he is!! So you never saw him down at city then?
blue army 1988 Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Matty Fryatt is our longest serving player I believe? Or is it Logan? Either way, i'd be sad to see him go. He's still fairly young and it would be mice to have a player who could go on and break some further records by becoming our leading scorer in the modern era with 100+ goals. He is capable of scoring 20+ at this level in my opinion and would have done so if he hadn't had his jaw shattered by that hacker from Doncaster. Sousa can bollocks if he let's him leave. In my opinion Fryatt is a league one player and always will be
Walshy5 Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 In my opinion Fryatt is a league one player and always will be I agree to an extent. he,s an exellent league 1 player and average championship player.
blue army 1988 Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 I agree to an extent. he,s an exellent league 1 player and average championship player. Yeah i agree but not a player who will help us push for promotion I feel
Far Post Gerry Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 A fully fit, regularly playing Matty Fryatt will get 20+ goals in the Championship, without a doubt. Heskey - god love 'im - would get 10 at a push.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 But Heskey is shit. Course he is. That's why he was an England regular until he retired after the World Cup!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Sorry, but I cannot see Fyatt get even close to 20 goals.
Cobbo Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Sorry, but I cannot see Fyatt get even close to 20 goals. League 27 (4) 12 FA Cup 1 (1) 0 League Cup 2 (0) 1 So 13 goals in 30 appearances & 5 sub appearances last season. To say you can't see him even getting close to 20 goals is a touch off isn't it? He may well have done so last season if it wasn't for his injury.

I agree, a fully fit Fryatt would definitely get close to 20 goals a season! If he hadn't got his jaw broken last season I'm convinced he would of done it then. Biggest rumours I've heard is that he's going Ipswich or Wolves. Jobber said to my mate the other day that he's goin Ipswich, i hope not!
Aumski Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 i like fryatt, but he has no premiership qualities apart from his finishing, his composer is a confidence thing, but for the premiership he'd be out run and out thought. he's a great player, and he's getting better but he wont ever be prem standard. IF we sign heskey, he'd be lethal with dj, just look at him and abong, when abong scored 11 goals in the prem, heskey had about 7 assists just for abong alone! dj 20apps (9 goals) blackpool champ Derby County (loan) 8 apps (3 goals) (not great but not shit either for derby anywho) Blackpool (loan) 18apps (11 goals ) nobody can say he's shit, and he's scored 1 in 3 (or 4?) for us this season. fryatt scored a double against maccle and i cant think of any others. fryatt and dj would be lethal up front dont get me wrong. fryatt plays deep, campbell is a poacher. BUT either dj will or fryatt will be sold this summer. and if both at this stage of the transfer window, then sousa needs shot, cuz we wont be able to sign any good/great replacments unless it's the loan market. but i'm behind sousa, i support the club. NOT 2 or 3 players.
Aeropars Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Soneone please tell me why Lee Jobber would know anything more than what we already know?

Bausor Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Soneone please tell me why Lee Jobber would know anything more than what we already know? Cause either he will eat you or if your to small to eat he might try banging you with his stick
caz05 Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Don’t be such a fcking dullard. If the pinnacle of your weekend is watching a 20-something brain dead flat-footed droopy lipped clumsy oaf with about as much footballing talent as decaying turd with hairs growing on it, masquerade as a football player. Then by all means be as opinionated as you want because nobody really cares and you’re blatantly devoid of any common sense and rationality. Are you sure your 28 mate
Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Fryatt won't get much more than 15-17 goals in my opinion. Hes decent, but not amazing at this level.

Asherz Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 dont need average players here. we need talent we are big enough for it and we have the money for it. out with fryatt in with someone who can score and get us goals that we need. makes me laugh so many people actually worship the ground he walks on because he is one of leicesters longest serving players and scored goals in league 1 .... and a few last season. iirc we as supporters want to be in the premiership yes ? in that case bye bye dj and matty fryatt and in with 1 or 2 strickers who will actually score goals and not throw there tyoys out the pram coz they aint played and put a bad atmosphere around the rest of the team. as for some of you saying u wont respect PS if he lets fryatt go... more fool you he is the manager he knows better than you... do you see these players daily on the training ground ? no. he knows best simple as thats what he is employed for if the players dont suit his playing style then he has the right to let em leave.

Do you? Obviously we want the best for the club and want to be in the Premier League, but you make it sound so easy that we can just let these 2 players go and just bring in another 2 at the click of a finger. Well, it ain't that easy these days! Who do you suggest we buy that is premier league standard but will want to play for us? Also, take in their wage demands - just because we have money doesn't mean we can throw it about .
z-layrex Posted 27 August 2010 Posted 27 August 2010 Course he is. That's why he was an England regular until he retired after the World Cup! England's players are shit too. Your argument is invalid.

Walshy5 Posted 27 August 2010 Posted 27 August 2010 Transfer request handed in Tuesday morning. Fact. Well mate it seems you actually might be right. I work with someone who claims to be best mates with conrad logan who confirmed this

There's no way we'll be able to spend any Thai mone before due dillegence is completed and almost no chance that will happen before the transfer window closes. Don't expect us to be flashing any serious cash around, even if we lose players like Fryatt and DJ their replacements (if any) won't be multi million pound signings or someone on £25k+ a week
Aumski Posted 27 August 2010 Posted 27 August 2010 I don't know if it's worth mentioning this, but we're in the Championship. yeah and DJ has scored more in the championship.
