Bert Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Most people hate him, but I love him. Massively under-rated I think and says everything how he sees it, which is the way it should be. Anyone seen his Interview regarding the 25 man squad?
Toby or not Toby Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 I have. Not suprised he has rejected the chance to go to Wolfsburg with that wally MaClaren in charge
Samilktray Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 He is a great character. It'd be a shame to see him not playing for someone next season, surely someone must fancy him on a season long loan

leicesterisme Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 He'll probably go to Fulham with Mark Hughes.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Good player. Gives his all on the pitch and never goes missing. Had a great season last year. He cracks me up as well.
Corky Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Would be a shame to see him retire early, especially after the season he just had.
breadandcheese Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 I never really liked him, as he one of those players you only really love if he's playing for your team. However, his comments about John Terry after the Chelsea game were superb and the stuff he does for charity is top notch.
Bryn Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Wouldn't like him to retire. I think he's a very good player.
Tilley Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Agree Bert, absolutely love the man. Double figures for both assists and goals last year and still won't make the 25. This is why I want Manchester City to fail miserably. As someone else said, wouldn't be surprised to see him at Craven Cottage with Mark Hughes.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Can't say I'm a fan of his blasé attitude to ending his career, but I do respect him as a very good player.
Mikey Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 He's grown on me over the years, I do like him. I hate Manchester City.

It'd be a shame to see him not playing for someone next season, surely someone must fancy him on a season long loan Spot on. Massively love Bellers and not just because he's Welsh, in the last few years - in no small part due to the work of Mark Hughes - he's become a really good player. Far more intelligent and creative than most people give him credit for. He's also the patron of a lot of good charitable work and, quite frankly, just simply doesn't take shit from people. Gets a lot of stick that he probably doesn't still deserve to be getting for being a bit of a drama queen in his younger days. Is responsible for some fabulous interviews, I just love his bluntness and the fact that - even though people consistently accuse him of lacking interest in Wales, being a small team, he's obviously absolutely gutted when he loses:
Sparky Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Cracking player but please don't fall for this retirement bollocks, he has absolutley no intention of quitting he is just trying to engineer a move. Be a wonderful signing for most teams in the Prem.

Be a wonderful signing for most teams in the Prem. Oh, aye, obviously. Good few years in him, yet, he hasn't even retired from international football yet - though I imagine he's the next to go.
ousefox Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 He definitely showed his quality last season with City. Never really knew how pacy he was since last year and IMO he was one of City's stand out players.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 One thing is for sure...Bellamy should have made the Europa League squad ahead of Roque Santa Cruz.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 One thing is for sure...Bellamy should have made the Europa League squad ahead of Roque Santa Cruz. Yes - but I don't reckon he'll be there come that game, but he may well be in another teams Europa League Squad? I think for the genuine footballer Bellamy is someone who you can appreciate much like Gerrard as they're always full of energy and wear their hearts on their sleeves.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Very opinionated but I've never bought into the hatefest that some parts of the media seem determined to get us to buy into. He says what he thinks but is far from the charmless meathead character that often develops from that and actually seems a fairly intelligent and articulate guy. He always seems to do well on the pitch wherever he goes as well, even if he does have the odd fallout through the fact that he takes absolutely no shit. I'd hate to see him leave the game, he's a real character who deserves to be part of the game for a while yet. So to the investors I say this, Bring the man in on loan! He would murder defences at this level.
Corky Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 He looked really up for the Wales match tonight- and seemed to be enjoying it.
Head Honcho Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 His articles in the welsh press recently have smacked of desperation....................even to the point of saying he'd love to take Cardiff into the premier league
mountsorrel fox Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Mark Hughes has shown an interest in signing Manchester City strikey Craig bellamy.
Wilkesy Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 He has been told by Roberto Mancini that he won't be in his 25 man squad and should find a new club. Would be a great signing for Fulham IMO.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 I remember him saying he wanted to go to Cardiff?
