Alexikokopops Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 This will all end in tears, it always does with Leicester. However, I'm going to enjoy the ride.

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Half Thai half Indonesian ownership of our club it is
SilverFox Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 It is pretty hard to be enthusiastic about this when we don't even know who has taken over. I maintain that it'll all end in tears...
clare Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Exciting news! Let's hope we can make some signings before the transfer window closes. It's never dull being a Leicester fan!
MikeyT Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Exciting news! Let's hope we can make some signings before the transfer window closes. It's never dull being a Leicester fan! So so true!
Carter The Boss Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 It is pretty hard to be enthusiastic about this when we don't even know who has taken over. I maintain that it'll all end in tears... Good point. My Saints supporting housemate wet herself when I said he had something to do with Duty Free shops in Thailand.
Ashley Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Exciting news! Let's hope we can make some signings before the transfer window closes. It's never dull being a Leicester fan! I've always said its never dull being a Leicester fan. We are the real life Harchester United (Dream Team)
Joe. Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Quite exciting at this stage, and it could well be so long as it doesn't get silly. We've seen too many errors in judgement from teams getting taken over by foreign consortiums to get too excited, but I feel OK about this one. So long as we spend within our means - the biggest thing here - we'll be fine and might get some joy out of it. A couple of decent new faces in the window now wouldn't go amiss, I'm sure Sousa has some prepared with all of this going on.
darko2k7 Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Good point. My Saints supporting housemate wet herself when I said he had something to do with Duty Free shops in Thailand. didn't their owner die this morning ?
Corky Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 This will all end in tears, it always does with Leicester. However, I'm going to enjoy the ride. Most likely.
STUHILL Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 It is pretty hard to be enthusiastic about this when we don't even know who has taken over. I maintain that it'll all end in tears... I think it will be fine. It's a group of ASIAN businesses that know how football obsessed ASIAN people are and so it's a smart investment to get their companies advertised at the highest level....... I HOPE!!
gazmanthegun Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 i work with a cov fan, a forest fan a derby fan and a stoke fan; and im loving it today. Our turn in the sun for the next few years!!
Samilktray Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 I've always said its never dull being a Leicester fan. We are the real life Harchester United (Dream Team) When did we lose some players in a coach crash?
1964FOX Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Just said on east midlands news that Milan will remain as chairman but did not say he would be owner, said Leicester will be run by the consortium. But could just be that Natalie bird not explaining it properly
filbertway Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Well at least now we should hopefully be in a position to compete, I think that's the exciting part of the takeover. The slightly more nervy aspect like some people have mentioned is, will the right decisions be made, I just hope people aren't expecting instant success, i'd like to see good investment all round to help build a decent base for us to add upon slowly over the years and hopefully become steady premiership team. Naturally that won't happen and we're going to have lot's of ups and downs, I'm looking forward to the ride ahead : D
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Don't think the girl on SSN was either she couldn't pronounce his name! Let's be honest, the SSN girls are not really there for how they talk...
Carter The Boss Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 didn't their owner die this morning ? Yeah last night. It's a touchy subject.. just trying to find out if we are now richer than them!
dandannieldanok Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Just said on east midlands news that Milan will remain as chairman but did not say he would be owner, said Leicester will be run by the consortium. But could just be that Natalie bird not explaining it properly She said saturday will be "Paulo Sousa's first game" , but in this instance ^ I think she is right.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Massive news, but anyone else absolutely appalled by the grammar in that announcement? Anyway, forget the guff about ambition and strength - where's the three-year plan?! Are we going with Paulo's two-year guarantee or is Aiyawatt going to come out and say, "Sod it, we'll do it this year"?

Our OS is run by complete morons, rarely is a story well-written.
Cant_Fox_You Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 Welcome to the club to the consortium. DONT fook UP please
