crouchie Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Does anyone think that chelsea dagger got the crowd going more when we scored, rather than playng kasabian?
davieG Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Does anyone think that chelsea dagger got the crowd going more when we scored, rather than playng kasabian? Who cares - no music is the future as it was the past, if you need music to get you going go to a concert.
haraven Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Personally not a great fan of Chelsea Dagger... and the name of the song.. Kasabian is Leicester thru-and-thru which in itself is cool imho. Perhaps we could ask the to mix in Henry's trumpet in their version?
crouchie Posted 18 August 2010 Author Posted 18 August 2010 re;trumpet mix.....yeah that would probably sound half decent!?
stripeyfox Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Hey kids! Guess what? A long time ago they never used to play any music when goals were scored! Yeah, can you believe that? People just used to jump around and hug each other and goad the opposition fans and it was great! The only music was the tinny PA system playing crap music of the day at half time but even then it wasn't so loud that you needed ear defenders and had to shout at the person sat 6 inches away from you if they wanted a cup of tea.
Callabinho Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Foock off! it stays Kasabian, their a Leicester band and i think its mint we have Fire as our celebration song!
Dan Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Listen to all of the noise you can hear following this link, this is what I believe we should play - Link.
Jackirius Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Prodigy - Firestarter or nothing. I'm agreeing with this guy Would be some pretty awesome goal music
Unabomber Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 It took long enough to get rid of that shit and replace with not quite as bad shit, and now you want the original shit back?
Madrid_Fox Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Keep Kasabian. OR maybe....... No only joking!
Fosse Boy Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Who cares - no music is the future as it was the past, if you need music to get you going go to a concert. Yes. "Celebration music" (what a cringeworthy phrase by the way) is used in this country as nothing more than crowd control to get people clapping along like idiots, then sitting back down in silence once the clip ends. Spontaneously celebrating a goal should be the best part of any match, can't understand why so many want to deny themselves that joy. However, I will admit Glad All Over looked and sounded quality at Palace the other week.
Dan Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 It's got to go, but it won't, we have a club who are far more interested in a certain type of fan than "ours".
Dan Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 However, I will admit Glad All Over looked and sounded quality at Palace the other week. You having a laugh? Thought it was utterly cringeworthy how they played a song, did that horrendous "Goalscorer is number seven, Darren Ambrose, that's number seven, Darreeeen....." "(Ahhmbrows!!!" and then played Glad All Over a good 10 seconds into the restart, and they didn't even sound that good IMO, think Blackpool sound far better when they sing it.
Sylvie85 Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 They shouldn't play music and the players should just shake hands when they score....... Let's keep it old school!
Bettsj2 Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Asign a song to each player for when they score. Or just play Satisfaction by the Stones.
J.Lisemore Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 My choice would be Crowd Noise by LCFC Fans. Agreed.
LeicesterLuke Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Ash, i hate you sometimes. I've just spent 10 mins trying to find that song, just to see you have already suggested it
m00nie Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 in theory its nice to play a leicester bands song but it does nothing for the atmosphere.. as mentioned above people just clap and sit down back down quietly..
