IIRC international clearance is the transfer of the players regisitration from one FA to another, no chance of the deal falling through, However the use of subject suggests there is a chance this could fall through which would suggest work permit.

I don't think Abi will face too many teams as good as Holland in the Championship, nor in the Premiership next season.

No, he's a tireless defensive midfielder. Probably a great acquisition for us, to be perfectly honest. Most of us don't really seem to think Andy King needs replacing, he needs a foil, well here he is. Ideally.
