DeclanMC Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Just seen that Kerrea Gilbert is a free agent? Did well for us in league 1, could be worth a punt if Morrison is unhappy? (Wrong forum - I do apologise)
Mack Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 If that is true it's a no brainer. The bloke is miles better than anything else we have at right back.
JmorsonLCFC Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Hmmm not sure about him...Michael Morrison is much better imo. But worth it if he's a free agent.
DeclanMC Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 From what I remember of him, he had good strength going forward, and could provide good cover if lloyd dyer plays on the right flank. Make him more able to make runs going forward without worrying about who is covering the defense.
phillthefox Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 heard we are after zayatte on a loan deal as didnt have time during window to sign him........ hopefully with option to purchase in Jan
bald reynard Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Loan windows doesn't open till the 8th right? Does anyone know if that's right - loans can start next Tuesday (8th) - a week after the transfer window closes ? I would imagine - if reports on the paperwork for Zayatte deal simply not being completed in time - that he might come in on loan next week (and so before our next match) ?
s11nny Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 heard we are after zayatte on a loan deal as didnt have time during window to sign him........ hopefully with option to purchase in Jan was just checking out the hull forum and they don't seem to bothered that he was linked with us. they don't really rate him that well either. i believe a hull fan said he is just about good enough to play at this level at his best. i dont want him, sounds shit rather have demerit
David Guiza Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Fans always say that when players or managers are on the verge of leaving. For example the amount of idiot Leicester fans who couldn't wait for Pearson to go to Hull once he was linked.
RobHawk Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Kightly has been left out of Wolves 25 man squad! He's injured at the mo but would be interesting to see him here once he is fit
MPH Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 In a weeks time we are going to see some real suprises of players who will drop down because of the new 25 man squad rule.
maddog Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Theres going to be a lot of quality players left out with the 25 man rule. But a hell of a lot of competition from the Championship clubs scraping to get them on loan. Hopefully we can get a couple, Man City will have a few, and if they pay the wages it's win win.

The fun begins on 8th September. The loan window opens a week after the transfer window has closed and shuts again at 5pm on the fourth Thursday in November.
Simmo86 Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Knightly, Left out of the Wolves 25 man squad, Mccarthy wants to send him out on loan. Worth a shout?
Ric Flair Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 If he can remain fit then it's a no brainer. Quality player.
The Doctor Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Left out of the Wolves 25 man squad, Mccarthy wants to send him out on loan. Worth a shout? 1st it's Kightly not Knightly, and it's already been mentioned in the "loans" thread just Here
Jackirius Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 There is no actual link between us and him though.
samlcfc1 Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 i think gilbert would be worth a shout did well in league 1 good pace good in the tackle ok going forward and should be able to adapt to sousa's style of play after being at arsenal all those years santa cruz................
Fox You Forest Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Kightly's not played since November because of injury.
Shipman Out Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Rob Hulse for QPR is a great signing. If like to see us get either Kyle Naughton or Kyle Walker from Spurs Oh and Kakuta from Chelsea Tara
dandannieldanok Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Kightly would be fantastic if we could get him match sharp and fully firing. Him on one wing and Lloyd on the other wing sounds good to me. Take a punt please Paulo.

lcfc_jme Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Kightly is an absolutely sexual beast. If he's after games and Sousa's after a player who has pace and can go by people, this should certainly be enquired about. I love me some Kightly.
