darko2k7 Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 The Foxes go into the game against Cardiff City on the back of an encouraging 1-1 draw with local rivals Coventry City on Saturday. The Foxes dominated the game and were unlucky to go a goal down just before half time. Coventry winger Michael McIndoe's cross was headed home by Clive Platt, leaving City 'keeper Ikeme with no chance. Like the first half, Leicester dominated the game, creating numerous chances, but unable to convert any for the equaliser. That was until the 76th minute when Andy King scored via a sublime chip over Keiran Westwood to silence the already stunned home crowd. The Foxes had the chance late on to grab all three points, but Steve Howard was unable to find the back of the net. Paulo Sousa will be hoping his team push on from a solid performance and secure all three points at the Walkers Stadium on Tuesday evening. The Bluebirds travel to the Walkers Stadium full of confidence after their latest win against Hull City on Saturday. Goals from Seyi Olofinjana and Gavin Rae secured all three points for Dave Jones' side which puts them joint top of the Championship with Queens Park Rangers. After the heart ache of losing to Blackpool in the Play-Off final and the recent signing of Craig Bellamy, Dave Jones will be determined that his side go one step further than last season. Much needed win tonight please
