Toby or not Toby Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 Seemed to break things up well, with a few headers clearances and obviously the header of the line!
kylestyle06 Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 Oh and I was stood behind Andy kings mum and dad
ajthefox Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 I'm going to put It on tomorrow! He's a decent guy actually... don't know why he travelled back alone? I'm getting a whiff of shite from you.... But anyway, only reason I can think of is that he might possibly live between Derby and Leicester and it might make travelling a lot easier..

Why the **** would I lie about that? lol lol I can't put it on in the car back. He signed my ticket from tonight too
Bugg Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 Why the **** would I lie about that? lol lol I can't put it on in the car back. He signed my ticket from tonight too He's got a point. If he was going to lie, he'd at least pick a good player to lie about meeting. Oakley lives in Bunny.......FACT My mum bought a car from Bunny

The Year Of The Fox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I'm getting a whiff of shite from you.... But anyway, only reason I can think of is that he might possibly live between Derby and Leicester and it might make travelling a lot easier.. I met Mancini walking around Picadilly, Manchester around midday on the day of our replay the other week. If you don't believe me, then look at my profile pic!
samjohnson Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Ive never really rated Oakley... Even when he did score (back in the days of league 1) Honestly dont know why we still have him. The last straw was the away game against Derby last season...
longy Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Ive never really rated Oakley... Even when he did score (back in the days of league 1) Honestly dont know why we still have him. The last straw was the away game against Derby last season... Completely agree
Ricey Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I think last night, from the sounds of it, was ideal for Oakley. Sit back, organise and close down. He's a good option to have when our backs are to the walls and/or Abe is struggling.
drc Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 it is at least nice to have some players on the bench that are not complaining and do their jobs happily when asked for (goes for Moussa and Howard as well). I don't have a clue if Hobbs are complaining or if he just try to compete for a place, but i think it's good for the team who have players that doesn't feel too unsettled when they are on the bench. Thatäs why Sven have said that if players aren't happy in the team then it's better to leave. I can understand though that it's tough to be a proffesional football player and see the manager bring in new people on your position.
Kitchandro Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Yeh he deserves credit for last night, his header off the line was as important as King's goal. Still don't rate him though, we need better options on the bench.
Jimmy2Drags Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Waste of wages. Best days are WELL behind him...slow, no vision...the list could go on.

The last straw was the away game against Derby last season... Yeah i agree with that too, and tbh, his clearance off the line tonight was from a corner and he was on the post I think I'm right in saying. Any player at the club should be capable of that! why all the bumlove
Haydos Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Yeah i agree with that too, and tbh, his clearance off the line tonight was from a corner and he was on the post I think I'm right in saying. Any player at the club should be capable of that! why all the bumlove The ball wasn't anywhere near the post. He read it and did well. Fair play to the lad.
peterborofox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I think Oakley is an ideal bench layer, especially in nights like last night. He isnt going to maon about being on the bench all the time, and he can come on and do a good job for us every now again, so he is a good player to have. Cant be any more than a squad player now, but good to have at times.
blueredswed Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 I have just read what Sven is thinking of Oakley and us I understand he gonna be in the start eleven soon! As I have read what you are saying here I thought he was bullish.......scrap..... nothing to have! But after what Sven said at Leicesters homepage he is good. What shall I think about this? Sven is wrong and all managers here knows better or?????????????
cc_star Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/tannerblog/Time-turn-Oakley/article-3192006-detail/article.html Tanner has wrote a blog saying he's ideal to replace Abe for the next game away at Derby as Abe has just looked a tad off the pace in the past 2 or so games I know Oakley's not got many fans on here, but I have to say I think I agree
CosbehFox Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 Excellent on Saturday. We kept the ball a lot better when he came on. His performance is related to his position, at the start of this season he went central and was one of the few to come out with any credit. Played a large wedge of last season injured and on the right wing, give him a break. Expect him soon too, Abe's beginning to struggle with fatigue. He's had no break from football since March last year and there's about twenty more games to the average English season than the Japanese.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 I thought this was like Chicken Tonight sorry
Uncle Phil Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 If Sven thinks he can do a central role so do I. Have a little faith in Sven, he's not done much wrong yet.
OmnipresentSam Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 The Barsnley boss rates him, just listened to his interview for the first time. He's a good player to come on and just add some control to the game. He's an experienced player with a lot of games at this level. Very good bench warmer for me.
Stevosevic Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 I back sven on every decision, if Oakley starts, I agree with him.
