HonradaRaposa Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 What's the point of spending the best part of £50 on ticket and travel to watch the people that represent us piss abput for 90 minutes not caring, that is from the Executive Chairman down through the management and those pretend to be players. Anyone seriously think it will be different tomorrow night?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Maybe, if people continue to show their support. My guess would be a lack of support would demoralise the team further and we'll be in for a real beating (sic).
Cat Burger Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Err, Delia might get twatted and make a chocolate pudding on the pitch?
Liamlcfc1 Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Its thease times we should support our club not just the good times i am going regardless of what happens
Wymsey Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 You can always listen to Stephan Fry pointless lectures.

lildave3 Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 I thought that about the Leeds cup game and we went and won 2-1, I was glad I went in the end. So you never know.
AoWW Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 No, it isn't. And I only live 20 miles up the road.
HonradaRaposa Posted 27 September 2010 Author Posted 27 September 2010 Its thease times we should support our club not just the good times i am going regardless of what happens Not to be argumetitive, but why? Why do these players deserve our support after some of their antics?
Prospero Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Yes it is worth going. I will shell out the cost of the ticket, train and overnight stay (because I can't get a return train home after the game) to continue supporting the team and the club, as always. The pessimism stems from feeling powerless as a result of the changes that have occurred: two years being proud of and being respected for our performance and now we are bottom of the table with an uncertain future. I shall be there to remind players, coaching staff and owners that we still care about our club. The worst may not happen. I know I did vote in the poll that we would lose but who knows until it happens. It might not. Stranger things have not happened.
Jakemoore Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 You could always stay at home and watch Masterchef: The professionals......how ever if I had a job and was old enough to drive then I would defo be going, as it I'm just a teenager.
Webbo Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Not to be argumetitive, but why? Why do these players deserve our support after some of their antics? Do you actually support this club?
Alexikokopops Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 I thought that about the Leeds cup game and we went and won 2-1, I was glad I went in the end. So you never know. In contrast, I was disappointed I couldn't go to the second Pompey game, but in the end it turned out for the best!

Well said, we'd all be hypocrites to stand chanting "loyal supporters" to then not even show up when times are hard. To anyone who can afford it.......go cause I would if I wasn't 16.
HonradaRaposa Posted 27 September 2010 Author Posted 27 September 2010 Do you actually support this club? What?
CosbehFox Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 My guess would be a lack of support would demoralise the team further and we'll be in for a real beating (sic). Maybe the case but a lack of support would also give the upper tier of Leicester City something to think about. Even more so if it was a lhome game affecting revenue streams directly. Methinks regardless of success, there is going to be a lot of LCFC fans this season thinking about 'Enough's enough' and 'where do I draw the line in our support'. The disturbing thing about Friday at the ground was the total like care and appreciate from the players to the manager to the chairman. Two of those parties were caught smiling and laughing.
J.Lisemore Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Support your team through thick and thin comes to mind...
Webbo Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 What? You hate this manager and the last one and the only time you mention any of the players is to slag them off. Are you sure you're not a Derby fan on a wind up?
Houdini Logic Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 WHEEEEEEERE WERE YOUUU WHEN WE WERE SHIT?
HonradaRaposa Posted 27 September 2010 Author Posted 27 September 2010 You hate this manager and the last one and the only time you mention any of the players is to slag them off. Are you sure you're not a Derby fan on a wind up? I don't 'hate' this manager or the last one either. It would be great if Sousa could work out because you can see what he is trying to achieve the trouble is we don't have enough quality players to do it and then there are those that don't like the fact their seriouslfailings have been exposed by playing simple passing football. As for Pearson, I don't hate him, but I don't buy in to thie theory, portrayed on here by many, that he was a wonderful messiah when all he achieved was promotion from the third division. Jock Wallace, Gordon Milne, Brian Little, Martin O'Neill and Micky Adams all got out Leicester City of this league he didn't. I do dislke plenty of the players we have as they are not good enough and their attitude has stunk this season. But if you could provide me with the guide book on how to support Leicester City Football Club then I will take it on board. Of course it could be argued that by blindly following whatever the Club serves up is infact far more detrimental.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Not worth it. Fryatt WILL invoke the restraining order if you turn up.

Pfft, you need to get yourself to some aways - 12 hour flight time to Thailand, I believe. Should give you plenty of time to read that guide book.
muzzy1981 Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Get down there and get behind the boys!!! Forget the Portsmouth match, a comedy of errors from the players/ref sealed our fate early on. Ignore the score line just call it a loss. We beat Cardiff who are second and more than held our own against QPR who are top (the difference was they had an in form striker, we haven't...but can..... if we show support!!! Come on Leicester!!!!

Especially the bit about the attitude of the players this season, which on the whole has been pretty damn poor. Only 2/3 players seem to have really bothered to try to build on and improve their games. There is only so much a manager can do, if the players cross that white line and simply don't give it their all and concentrate, the manager can't really legislate for that.
