It's clear for all to see that he's nothing but respected by colleagues, fans and players alike. Stick him as Sven's number two. So when Sven does a bunk, he'll be ready to step up and take the reins.

No. The man is a legend, was a real class left back when he played in my view. and I love the fact the Chris and Mike showed the passion..that I for one was looking for tbh. Just hope Chris stay as assistant and when Sven goes....maybe Chris to take over..I'd be happy with that

Forget Sven, the two guys know the club well, espescially Stowell, I don't think anybody in and around the playing squad has been there longer than him. They are respected by the players and both are young. But most importantly, they care, they show passion for the club just like we do and if they could show that on a weekly basis, it will get to the players and the team spirit will be similar to the MON days. I would be much happier to have a bench than jump up and down, kicking water bottles, fighting with linesmen and opposing managers than one that will sit there and lick arses.
