Joe. Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Sven will love having him around, the man is an absolute hero of a human being. It was Sven who gave him his England caps at the age of 31.
m00nie Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 when moussa scored the third and powell ran half way up the pitch was a great sight.. no one can deny the passion and commitment but there not permanent material sorry...
Gaffer Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 What a legend, he went bananas at the third goal, hugging the lino... jumping into the players.... class guy.... Showed and Acted how many of us would if given the chance to be in his position. Class act.
CosbehFox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 The beauty of Powell is that he understands fans and recognises their position in making football what it is. He's also greatful for the career he's been given.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 I Love him. Do you think he loves Leicester more than the other clubs he has played for?
J.Lisemore Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 He will be a very good manager in years to come.
J.Lisemore Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 when moussa scored the third and powell ran half way up the pitch was a great sight.. no one can deny the passion and commitment but there not permanent material sorry... Why couldn't they be? Look at Malky Mackay at Watford...
Cropwellfox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Stowell didn't really make a huge success of it when he was assistant to Rob - it all just seemed a bit beyond the two of them in the end, but his passion and enthusiasm are brilliant. As for Chrissy P, what a guy. Really hope he gets a gig with the first team, and that Phil Parkinson doesn't get sacked by Charlton any time soon, as they could well come knocking.
MPH Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 when moussa scored the third and powell ran half way up the pitch was a great sight.. no one can deny the passion and commitment but there not permanent material sorry... what is your justificaition for making that comment? I'm seriously intrested in knowing....
Fox You Forest Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Hero. I'm certain his time will come, hopefully here.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Pray to god also, Micky Stowell is kept on. My mates, who are Wolves fans, are gutted we've got him. Always remember a time that Stowelly squared up to Jim Magilton when we beat Ipswich in about 2006 - pure class !!
Mee Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Top bloke, would love him to have a go at being gaffer. He has some passion and is a pure idol to some kids.
Goddard Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Absolutely loving seeing Powell charging down the touchline when we scored the third. But seriously, shouldn't he technically have been sent to the stands for running on the pitch?
Leicester_Loyal Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Stringer's just confirmed that Powell will be coach with Derek Fazackerley as No.2 Great news.
CupidStunt Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 So glad he is possibly being kept on as coach, would be a pure injustice if he was told to leave, and sven's first big mistake
m00nie Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 what is your justificaition for making that comment? I'm seriously intrested in knowing.... commitment alone is not enough to manage a club.. he hasn't the experience needed.. if it was a random person from any other club people would tear the idea to bits, its only because of his Leicester connection.. people are using there heart when they say they would love him to stay on as manager..
Ozwin Posted 2 October 2010 Author Posted 2 October 2010 I don't think people realistically want him to be manager now, he's only been a proper coach for a few months. Give him a few years and I'm sure he'd be well up for taking a club on.
Heskey2011 Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 love him. Sven's 1st job is to keep him!! Agree with this, There's nothing i like to see more than players rushing to the sideline to celebrate with the man with a plan, just shows the harmony in the squad and the level communication with the training staff. Sven - this club is notorious for hounding managers so get yourself some popularity points and keep Powell on, and give him a raise ffs!
Neil_LCFC Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Chrissy P is still probably good enough to play for us he definately could still play if he dropped down a league or 2.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 I think the blokes a knob . YOU REALLY DONT THINK I MENT THAT DO U ? HE IS A LEGE!!!!
