MC Prussian Posted 6 October 2010 Posted 6 October 2010 I've not noticed Moreno in any of the pics. I doubt this as it'll mean going to bed at 4:00 AM and getting up at 13:00 PM. It only takes two days to adjust properly to a new time zone. That might be the case for going to "holidays" in Thailand, but doesn't jetlag usually set in once you return to your own home country? I once heard about the "one day per hour" rule - for each hour of time difference, you'd need at least one day to recover. However, I trust the LCFC staff to come up with some nifty counter measures...

I'm not to sure about that measure but I personally find the best way to counter jet lag is by staying awake for 24 hours after landing and going to bed at the normal time. After being awake for 24 hours you'll be tired whatever the time, a couple if days later you're back in the swing of things.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 6 October 2010 Posted 6 October 2010 BTW the guy 2nd left is the richist man in Thailand why would he be there
Fox You Forest Posted 6 October 2010 Posted 6 October 2010 BTW the guy 2nd left is the richist man in Thailand why would he be there What's his name?

Jackirius Posted 6 October 2010 Posted 6 October 2010 BTW the guy 2nd left is the richist man in Thailand why would he be there He is a big gun behind the Thailand national team i think.
nickelbyfox Posted 6 October 2010 Author Posted 6 October 2010 BTW the guy 2nd left is the richist man in Thailand why would he be there He is the Makudi Worawi, president of the Thai FA as the article said, not the second richest person in Thailand! Not sure about the guy on the far left though, he could be anyone.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 October 2010 Posted 6 October 2010 Are we really going to be Thailand's favourite adopted football club?
davieG Posted 6 October 2010 Posted 6 October 2010 Valid point, but I had heard it was a condition of the trip that our team wasn't going to change their bodyclock and were going to go to bed and eat at UK time, so as not to be completely fooked when they get back. I've not noticed Moreno in any of the pics. I doubt this as it'll mean going to bed at 4:00 AM and getting up at 13:00 PM. It only takes two days to adjust properly to a new time zone. http://www.givemefoo...-and-pfa-chair? Leicester coach Chris Powell has made no secret of his desire to become a full-time manager one day and the former England full back can boast a perfect managerial record thus far – reading played one, won one. Powell and goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell took temporary charge of City's 3-1 win against S****horpe on Saturday, following the departure of Paulo Sousa on Friday, as the Foxes registered a much-needed victory at the Walkers Stadium. City have since appointed ex-England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson as Sousa's replacement and Powell will stay at the club to work alongside his former national team coach. Givemefootball's Mark Shail logged the thoughts of the popular PFA chairman when he spoke to radio show TalkSPORT from Thailand during Leicester's international break. SVEN GAVE YOU YOUR ENGLAND DEBUT AT THE AGE OF 31, HOW MUST KEVIN DAVIES BE FEELING NOW? He will be ecstatic.I don't know the situation how he found out about the call-up to the squad but it will be a great feeling, not just for him, and Bolton in his case, but when he looks back at his career, which started out at Chesterfield, he will be very proud - as will all the people he has worked with throughout his career. But when he joins up with the squad that is when it will hit home that it's for real. WAS THAT QUITE DAUNTING FOR YOU AS A PLAYER? No, not really, because in my case the backroom staff under Sven were Steve McClaren, who was my coach at Derby and Peter Taylor, my manager at Southend. hat was good for me and obviously I had played against all the guys in the squad over many years. I think it will be the same with Kevin, he's a likeable guy and he is in there on merit. There are a number of strikers injured at the moment but if he plays and does well he could well be included in the future. IT'S CERTAINLY BEEN AN EVENTFUL WEEK AT LEICESTER... Yes, obviously it has been a traumatic time for everyone with Paulo leaving on Friday and then Mike and I taking the team on Saturday. But we got a win, which was great for us going into the international break, and now we are over in Thailand to play against their national team, managed by Bryan Robson. And then, when we come back, we play against Hull City who are managed by our former boss Nigel Pearson, so it's all go at the moment. HOW ARE YOU COPING WITH THE TIME DIFFERENCE IN THAILAND? Well, it's 7.30 pm over here at the moment and we are actually having lunch very shortly because we're trying to keep everything to UK time. So, we will have our dinner later on at 1.30 in the morning UK time. We are due back on Sunday but so far it has been a fantastic welcome for us and obviously the club are now owned by family members from Thailand.
