Dylan Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Swansea unbeaten at home- will of course be tough. According to BBC preview, Dyer is fit. My prediction: Swansea City 1-2 Leicester City (Sinclair; King, Davies)
Haylz Lou Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 If we play like we did against Leeds then 2-1 to us... feel it is going to be stressful end again though
crazylegs1984 Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Time shit hit the fan and we thumped someone and show we mean business with Matty and Lloyd back and our defence looking solid Swansea could be on for this so called thumping so I'll put my head in the noose and say 3-0 city with waghorn smashing a brace and fryatt finishing it off COME ON THE CiTY
StanSP Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Matchday thread already Could have at least waited til daylight! Anyway, feeling cautiously optimistic about this. I think we're confident at the moment, but I hope we don't become too over-confident with how we've started with Sven. I'm sure he'll keep us grounded and if Dyer plays I think he'll get on the scoresheet. 1-1 or 2-1 I'm going for.
Mee Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 2-0 City. King and Naughton with the goals. If we get 3 points from this it will have been a magnificent start from SGE.
bluebeau Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 City to keep us on the edge of our seats....again! Final score 1 - 0 to the lads. Dyer with the winning goal, & our 1st clean sheet so far this season. Sven is the new Messiah.
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 i think we will dominate the 1st half again with matty bagging b4 the break!! then i hope we come out 2nd half and get the 2nd to kill it off. 2-0 city BUT.......if stevie comes on with 20mins to go 3-0!!!
Lillehamring Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 i believe the season has started for us properly now. even with the poor results under sousa we were anything but a bad team and had the players capable of a top two finish. sven seems to have turned that capacity into actual performance. yes, swansea are unbeaten in a while, but equally their last two home games were drawn, so it's not like they're destroying teams. they have only conceded 1 goal at home. us being leicester this all adds up to us stuffing them. i'll stick my neck out a little less than that and say 2-1 city
AmyLGK Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 i honestly think we'll lose as everyone is so hyped up and optermistic... but that's a good thing, cause whenever i feel like that we win. And when i think we'll win, we lose! It's like some horrid curse that has been bestowed on me Im so happy Dyer is fit though!
sdb Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 i'd take a draw now, it's the 4 games after that we should be looking to win. this is a toughy.
samuel Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Swansea 2-0 Leicester. All aboard the reality bus!!!
CelebFox Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 3-2 City, Jack Hobbs to get his first Leicester goal
Simmo86 Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 3-2 City, Jack Hobbs to get his first Leicester goal Huddersfield at home in League 1 On davieG's highlights
Aylestone Fox Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 I'd take a draw at Swansea to be honest, after the Hull game we had 2 toughies and thought 4 points from those two (Leeds & Swansea) would be more than good return. Like said earlier its the next 4 league games that are crucial, go on a winning streak after the Swansea game and we'll be right back in the thick of it. Hope Matty & Dyer start as they'll give us the pace and cutting edge we need, until Vassell's match fit there's only them two with the pace to get behind them. Really pleased with Sven's positive start to his reign, hope he can extend Davies loan deal too as he has made a massive difference. Come onnnnnn Up the City,......
Corky Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 I said 1-1 in the prediction thread and it would be a good result. However, we can go there and win and I'm sure Sven is thinking of three points again.
StanSP Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Fryatt to get the winner from the bench. Like this?
shailen Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 it'll be a tough game but we will hopefully shade it. Can't see many goals with two resolute defences, but i think it'll be 2-0 to us with fryatt and king on the scoresheet GO ON SVEN!!!!
davieG Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Fryatt to get the winner from the bench. Will that count?
Tilley Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 I think it'll be 1-1 which will be a good result. However, I hope Sven don't set us up for the draw because pretty much every game is winnable in the Championship, hopefully we sneak it.
The Doctor Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Like this? quality strike. Sign him up sven.
