sdb Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 we lost to 6th in the prem with our reserve side. the club is in turmoil!!! seriously though, Logan never has and never will be good enough. Lamey sounds awful. looking forward to the standard overreaction though...
Tilley Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Don't even see why we sacked Sousa? Sven is a clown.
hackneyfox Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Who do we actually have that you honestly want in there week after week? Naughton Davies King Wellens? Disappears at times Dyer? Don't see him doing 90 minutes week after week I'm honestly starting to struggle after that.
easilee Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Never expected to win this so not that surprised. Cannot believe Howard got another 2 years out of us though. Of all our strikers he is the one expected to win headers from corners/free kicks. 0 goals from 90 odd corners ( haven't checked exact amount, too depressing ) says it all about his prowess in the box. sh**. Fryatt. 'sigh' I think Sven has, from tonights game, finally identified the problem areas, i.e. most of them. Come February we will probably have retained 5 or 6 max of our current squad, and got some quality in. Roll on February.
CKB Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 MASSIVE over reaction on Radio Leicester As per usual! a bunch of total jeb ended ****planks!
cc_star Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 I never expected us to win but the manner of our defeat was an identi-kit to every defeat so far this season, play well fail to take our chances, concede to the opponents first attempt on goal, somehow equalise and perform a total collapse conceding shit loads. When will people realise we're in a relegation battle! Our defence ship goals whoever is playing, and our forwards can't score again whoever is playing if you add those two things together it adds up to shit The way to sort it out is to sign practically a whole new squad except for about 4 players, but if you do that you will have a team of strangers Sven's talk of a trip to Wembley was laughable Between that and the owners talk of us being promoted I can see this season being like '08 Sven eagerness to sign players is no different to Holloway's and that followed a wasted summer of upheaval Allen/Sousa I am an admirer of Sven and I do think he can turn it around, but talk of a top half finish or playoffs/promotion is nothing more than a fooking joke On the plus side Logan & Lamey have turned out for us for the last time
Matt Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Stringer: '[Enter whatever name] Conrad needs to go blah, blah, blah, but i'm not going to read the last bit of your tweet out because I don't think suggesting he should go and work at a fast food outlet will do the lad anygood whatsoever' Erm, Strings, I think you indirectly read the last bit of his tweet out
Guest shearfox Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 We were far from full strength, against Preston we will have Weale, Davies, naughton, Cunningham, Waghorn and maybe Vassell back in. Who knows Sven could bring in someone else as well.
Petchy Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 I hope people heard my tweet that was read out and saw sense.. @IanStringerBBC People need to put this in to perspective. We basically played our back up team with a few 1st teamers against a prem side!
Master Fox Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 I like Sven, just unfortunate most of our players are of faeces quality

Lamey sounds awful. looking forward to the standard overreaction though... I agree here. I think we did ok for an hour or so (fitness still an issue?) but we did have chances. Yet again we did not score from them. Fault lies in our attack I'm afraid...

Tilley Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 On a serious note, the cup is unwanted and shit, especially the Carling Cup. Let's focus on climbing up the league table, just a shame to concede four.

Who knows Sven could bring in someone else as well. True enough, but of the above, Weale isn't exactly inspiring confidence this year, neither Davies nor Naughton will ever be anything but loans, Cunningham is a kid with barely any league experience and, Waghorn currently looks pretty lost. The quicker January comes, the chequebook comes out and we're able to get some permanent additions with more quality the better.

Ricey Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Not that bothered about going out, but it was worrying how much better they were than us. At least Sven has had a chance to see a few more players
