Kitchandro Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Howard v Leeds when we got promoted from League 1 for me. I've never seen Leicester fans so universally ecstatic at once. Ended up at least 3 rows back. Of course I'm too young to remember some of the others mentioned here like the 90's play-offs or the Cup Finals.
cambridgefox Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Coca cola semi 2nd leg at selhurst v Wimbledon,i was pissed and my mate went to the toilet and missed the goal, when he rushed down the steps i was in a headlock ,but lifting this guy up in jubilation who i didnt know, but he had LCFC tattooed above his eyebrows,we were lovers for that minute!
chesterfox Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Lenny Glover's equaliser at Villa Park in the 1974 FA Cup Semi Final. City fans had the Holt End in the days of standing, fantastic. good shout
Fosse Boy Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Lenny Glover's equaliser at Villa Park in the 1974 FA Cup Semi Final. City fans had the Holt End in the days of standing, fantastic. Bet that was immense. Can only dream of something like that. King at Cardiff has just about moved above Gradels at MK. Both carnage. Still have an ambitions of a pitch one Same. Always wondered what happened to those lads who hit the turf at Orient the other year. Was brilliant seeing some boys from our end having the bottle to do that. Probably ended up with ridiculous banning orders though. For me, anything terrace-based has usually been a good mental. Hereford was where I did myself the most damage, tripped up a few rows and ended up on the gravel. Strange as I was relatively sober that day too.
lcfc_jme Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 To be honest, and I can't believe it hasn't yet been mentioned, Dyer away at Hereford in our League One season to put us 2-1 up was complete fvcking carnage in our end and was right up there in terms of my memorable celebrations. Honourable mentions also go out to : Sheehan, Stearman and especially Clemence v Forest in THAT cup game, as well as Carl Cort v Chelsea (made extra special as I was in the completely wrong tier for that game), Fryatt's penalty away at Southend and Andy King away at Barnsley this season. I know there's been SO many goal celebrations I've fvcking loved, but I've had more than enough Polish beer (how the fvck those cvnts drink so much I'll never know) to drain my memory 'till the morn.
Baby Elvis Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Seems weird but i never supported a football team till my brother took me my first game last season v forest at home! When Gallagher scored that free-kick! i ended up about 5 rows down still go the bruises to show it! Of course i was not around in the glory days of the club but that was pretty special for me!
martinrowland Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Reading away in the FA Cup about five years back was pretty good. Scowcroft winning it with a looping header in the 90th minute after they had taken an early lead.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Howard against Leeds Started celebrating in my seat in the Kop and ended up 10 rows lower down in the family stand Epic.
tomtom Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Ian Marshall putting us 1 - 0 up in Madrid after a 36 hr coach journey,... went absolutely mental!
FoxyPV Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Howard vs Leeds two years ago as i was in a bar in turkey full of leeds supporters who were giving me grief the whole match. Up steps Stevie and BAM. Danced about like a maniac giving all sorts of abuse.
Father Ted Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Mine are more recent but... Howard vs Leeds when we won 1-0. All 3 goals against Forest last year - was mental in L1, people falling down rows, everyone getting crushed, mental! Gradel against MK Dons. Also, Lloyd Dyer against Blackpool to make it 2-0 last year (away) Edit: Kingy's winner at Peterborough last year was a nice experience too.
Walshy5 Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Walsh v Derby 1994 Claridge v Palace 1996 De Vries v Tottenham 2006 Howard v Leeds 2009 King v Preston away last season And all 3 goals at home to forest last year. Great feeling to get revenge after the game of which we do not speak
Maybes Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Away - King 3-1 v Cardiff. Mental celebrations. Maybes sending some blokes pint flying then breaking his glasses, guy not impressed. Then some other guy ending up with a nosebleed. Carnage celebrations and such a high feeling. Also, Nils Eric v Preston to keep us up. Unity amongst City fans that day was massive and it was such an important goal nobody could control themselves. Pretty much this. Kingys at Cardiff was awesome - the whole end in raptures.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Mostly recent for me as I was quite young when we were successful. Howard V Leeds Peterborough away last year. Barnsley this season.
syston_fox Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Home games: - Howard v Leeds - De Vries v Spurs Away: - Cort v Chelsea - Dyer v Hereford - King v Cardiff - Gradel v MK Dons - Every goal against Fulham in the two recent cup ties.
Jacnah Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Ian Marshall putting us 1 - 0 up in Madrid after a 36 hr coach journey,... went absolutely mental! great shout!!
djedmundo Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Preston away when Nils-Eric Johansson scored... them celebrations were amazing from what i could tell having had to claw my brother off my back!!
MrSpaM Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Gotta be Walsh's equalising goal in this one for me. Think Gallaghers karate kick one was great for an individual one though
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 King at Cardiff has just about moved above Gradels at MK. Both carnage. Still have an ambitions of a pitch one This
Tommeh Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Just recalled Wesolowski making it 3-1 at Fulham, oh my. That Dion winner at Charlton is right up there aswell.
Corky Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 The noise that followed Hignett's equaliser vs Arsenal will live with me for a long time. So loud.
BoneDog Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Steve Walsh at Wembley 1994 was probably my favourite. I was a few rows back from where Grayson crossed the ball and felt a moments grief when Taylor saved from Ormondroyd but then Walsh scored from the rebound and we went absolutely mental. You could see pure joy on everyones face, it was excellent!
Wymsey Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Remember when he actually scored Akinbiyi goal celebration showing his 'muscles.'
Finnegan Posted 7 December 2010 Posted 7 December 2010 Walsh v Derby 1994 Steve Walsh at Wembley 1994 was probably my favourite. I was a few rows back from where Grayson crossed the ball and felt a moments grief when Taylor saved from Ormondroyd but then Walsh scored from the rebound and we went absolutely mental. You could see pure joy on everyones face, it was excellent! Very surprised nobody else came up with it.
