Hard to look at races like Brazil in his championship year and say he didn't deserve it. He's a very fussy driver, he needs his car to be perfect and I reckon that's why a more savvy Rubens outshone him a bit in the second half when the package wavered.

But in a top car? Very good driver. Think he's done well at McLaren.

lol at Button driving into the wrong team's pit.

Absolute fucking nonce.

How anyone thinks he's one of the better drivers in the field I don't know - even Narain Karthikeyan could have snatched up that 09 championship with the clearly superior car.

About as daft as Felipe Baby driving away from the pits with the fuel hose still attatched.

Really good racing this season. Loved Brundle's comment at the start - "There are 7 billion people on this planet, but only 24 of them are F1 drivers!" Great soundbite.

Webber was class today though. I doubt Vettel could do the same - he's great on a clear track, but wheel to wheel he lacks. I think it's the difference between intuition and feeling the track, which he has, and that extra bit of intelligence that lets you read other drivers and spot gaps others miss, like Webber.

I think that's experience, to be fair, Trav.

It's easy to forget how little time Vettel has actually spent in F1. It's almost ten years since Webber first got in a Minardi.

Still a funny moment but you seem short for words on that Red car's performances this season

lol What can I say?

At the moment slightly off the pace - sure, but come Turkey Ferrari will be right back in the hunt.

Mark my words, Felipe baby will win in Istanbul. No one has won there more than him.

lol he's a Masa fan and he thinks BUTTON is shit? Haha okay.

Massa is a very, very talented young man. He's just very much a confidence driver.

So clearly, what with being robbed in an unsporting manner of the championship by Glock - some jealous no-mark deciding he wanted to make some kind of contribution to the sport amidst a career where his existence is completely irrelevant, being unfortunate to find himself on the receiving end of a fluke incidient in Budapest which could have fucking killed him, and in Hockenheim last year falling foul of a mis-communication in the team - you can see why he'd be lacking a bit of confidence.

But he'll come good, I promise you. I can say with absolute certainty that Felipe will be winning races by the summer.

They are all very very talented young men (well not Schumacher and Barrichello, they are very very talented old men). But Massa is nowhere near on the level of Hamilton, Alonso, and Vettel. He's good but would only really stand a chance at the title if he had the very best car, which right now he doesn't. And even of he did, his team mate in the same car would 9 times out of ten kick his ass, because Alonso is a class above. We've seen Hamilton and Alonso both battle to race victories and challenge for titles in inferior cars, something Massa has struggled to do, even before his injury.

If Asha is talking about Hamiltons title win in the rain when Glock slowed right down up that little slope then I've got to agree that Massa was robbed. People say, "oooh he had the wrong tyres on"! Bollox.....no formula 1 car slows down like that, wrong tyres or not.

Everyone in the racing world knows what happened that day, and I have it from good sources that aren't NASA. Atrocious behaviour and I was appalled.

Exactly! There's so many signs - even apart from the fact that Glock is well known buddies with Hamilton.

Which is all fine - but why would Lewis Hamilton or any of his fans celebrate knowing it was undeserved and a complete and utter fix?

I'm a massive fan of Alonso, and yeah, he's marginally Ferrari's best title shot.

But to say Massa's getting his ass kicked is a little misinformed - for example, Massa's finished ahead of Alonso twice already this season, with more fastest laps too.

I can't see how any Formula 1 fan can look at what happened that day and say it wasn't dodgy! So obvious.

That season was the one and only time I've watched every race and I loved it and really got into F1 for the first time, but what happened on that last lap took all the shine off it for me. Couldn't believe it.

That's twice out of an early part of a season, I guarantee Alonso will finish on more points this season. You can pick out points of any season where clearly inferior drivers have had a couple of better races than their team mate. I think last year Button had a couple of race where he out paced Hamilton, and anyone who says Button is as good as Hamilton is deluded.

And as for the Glock bullshit, stop talking total arse gravy. He lost grip on the corner, Hamilton, being a top driver capitalised and took the position. And the fact is that's the nearest Massa will ever get to the title.

Yeah I can't stand a real sporting climax right at the death either - I'd much rather have contests settled in the first half of the season me.

Very fascinating race.

Much better from the Ferrari boys - vital to get that podium and I've no doubts Massa would've been up there too if it wasn't for the problems in releasing him too early, and then later on into the worst traffic on the track.

Several people I know have already written off the season after four races claiming Vettel is 'unbeatable', which isn't true - cause just last race he was beaten to the victory. Ferrari are making good progress though so hopefully they'll be fighting for race wins again.

lol at Glock not even making the start.

Really Hoping Button beats Vettel into the first corner, otherwise Vettel will drive away into the distance.

Yeah where are they going to open their spoiler? In the tunnel? That would be awesome!

Keep an eye on Rosberg today though, he's starting 9th but I can see him flying. He was second quickest in Thursday's practice and even after he had his crash yesterday, he got straight back in the car and put a monster first lap in on Q1.

He was unlucky in Q3 because he was just putting his best lap in when Perez crashed and then non of the drivers had any pace for the last 2:30 mins.

He was brought up around the track so knows it very well + Mercedes are starting to find some pace. It's a all a recipe for a good day for the young German.
