Maybes Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Season Loan to sheffield united, medical tomorrow ive been told. Wouldn't mind seeing him cover left back once berner leaves. He's well and truly burn't his bridge here mate. Look forward to Sheff yoo away even more now.
broughtonblue Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Haha remember the WBA fans chanting 'he's going up, he's going up, mattocks going up' didn't stay up for long!
Stevosevic Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Doesn't deserve to be a footballer, he's just a thug. Hope this is the start of his fall, hope he enjoys another relegation battle.
Craig Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Although Sheffield United away is always a belter... it has a whole new dimension now
Soar Fox Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Doesn't deserve to be a footballer, he's just a thug. Hope this is the start of his fall, hope he enjoys another relegation battle. You say he's just a thug? Do you base this on a fight in town. I think there's a lot more 'thugs' in football than joe mattock. Joey Barton, craig bellamy and andy Carroll spring to mind.

Joey Barton, craig bellamy and andy Carroll spring to mind. also basing it on the time he was with us, but he is being charged with 3 counts of assault? Correct me if I am wrong, but in my eyes that makes him a thug and it's a shame footballers can be in trouble with the police and not suffer any consequences from their employers, the man in the street would. And the above mentioned are thugs yes, I didn't say they were any better than mattock.
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Haha remember the WBA fans chanting 'he's going up, he's going up, mattocks going up' didn't stay up for long! Bit like West Brom hopefully.

Salieri Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Loaned to Sheff Utd? Clearly his 'talent' is nowhere as big as his ego.
Soar Fox Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Just because Barton, Bellamy and Carroll are thugs doesn't mean Mattock can't be one. Where did I say he isn't a 'thug'? I class Barton, Carroll and bellamy more as thugs because if you look at there previous history they've been involved in a lot more serious incidents than mattock, who I belive has only been involved in one incident.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Sheffield United away just got more interesting. Lloyd v Mattock? Brilliance.
samjohnson Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Nice to see that Mattocks "bigger club" wants him And the funnier bit is that there is no recall clause!

'none of those played for us did they? its pretty common for people to speak bad of their ex-players before any other teams players. especially those who have been involved in the stuff he has. we are entitled to call him a thug Also. his attitude, if you had ever met him, was simply astounding... it beggars belief and getting rid of him was one of the best things we ever did.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Fucking hell we had some garbage players.
AmericanScott Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Who the bloody **** are they? Ferreira was a beast on FM08.

Mattock is still young and has plenty of time to catch up on these guys
The Doctor Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Sheffield United away just got more interesting. Lloyd v Mattock? Brilliance. more likely it will be gally/darius. Still darius v mattock and the yak v morgan? loverly.
Soar Fox Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Mattock is still young and has plenty of time to catch up on these guys Or he might mature and not get Into any trouble.
ousefox Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Who the bloody **** are they? They look like they've just won a competition to play for the club. Wouldn't be suprised with the type of players we had then.
