Stevosevic Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Micky doesn't deserve any stick from us, very harsh. He's a decent bloke, tried his best for the club, got us promoted and we had a go in the Premiership season, it just wasn't suppose to be.

Great manager for us you arsehole. 100% agree, Adams will go down in my books as a very good man, and good manager for getting us through one of the most difficult if not the most difficult time in our history. I can't think of anyone he has because he took a break after us didn't he? And then there was Port Vale before Sheff Utd but I don't remember playing them..

I agree Adams deserves respect, he did a very good job for us under difficult circumstances, it says a lot that we haven't been to the Prem since he was in charge. Mattock's in for some right stick though oh yeah, forgot about that. There was Brighton as well, dunno if there's a chance we played them in league 1 while he was in charge. But yeah we have had much worse managers since Adams and after Peter Taylor, it's a wonder Adams did as well as he did for us.

It certainly does, the fact that he lumbered us with his dads army squad that took years and numerous managers to come and go whilst trying to sort out the mess he'd left..

I remember he left us 9th in the table, and he got a mediocore squad to play some decent football. However i dont believe he has done a great job since then, his spells at coventry and brighton were average. Did alright ar port vale though. I hope he does well at sheff utd, but with their squad i can only see a relegation battle for them
