JamesLCFC Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Dont know whether this is worth a thread, but i think its brilliant support by our lads, rang up the ticket office to get a ticket and the kop and west stand was full sold out, and the east stand had only a few tickets left!
Tommy G Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 West stand sold out? Haha did you have your hearing aid in?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 West stand sold out? Haha did you have your hearing aid in? Yeah that cant be true - all the hoity toity fans sit there
JamesLCFC Posted 17 February 2011 Author Posted 17 February 2011 West stand sold out? Haha did you have your hearing aid in? quite true, but just going on what the ticket lady told me....
Tommy G Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 The club will give It the biggun and say "secure your tickets fast, final few remaining!" And then they'll announce an attendance of 25k
harpendenfox Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Gates shut at 6.30 with every last seat sold. Kids shinning up telegraph poles to catch a glimpse of their heroes. A special temporary stand built above the East Stand between 6.45 and 7.30 increasing capacity to 38,000. twitter bought to a standstill by the amount of LCFC tweets exchanged by fans from around the world wanting up to date info from Stringer. Police from Warwickshire, Derbyshire and Northants rushed into to retain order amongst the many thousands standing outside the ground simply so they could say I was there on the night we played Bristol City at the Walkers. I'm telling you.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 24,300. Bit more than usual due to the '20quid' offer and it not being on a Saturday.

davieG Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Yeah that cant be true - all the hoity toity fans sit there All those posh fans have brought their families along for the £20 pie and pint Just to say I'm not surprised as you can sit there for £20 rather than the £30+ and get you're pie and pint
thybluefox Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Ticket office told a mate today they'd sold 23,000.
hackneyfox Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 There will be a mass ruck in the rush to get to the pint and pies, that or people will miss a lot of the game.
nickelbyfox Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Wish I was going pint and a pie for 20 pounds seems a great deal, really shows the owners are trying their best to get the support in!
Wymsey Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Just a tad worried that you lot will buy pies and they are not what you expected them to taste like.
Jackirius Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Just a tad worried that you lot will buy pies and they are not what you expected them to taste like. Bring some of your Caviar own to share with the plebeians then.
Fox1651 Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 i would be surprised if we get more than 23-24'000
Guest Bilo Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 DMU shop are offering the same ticket, pie and a pint deal for the princely sum of a tenner. I wouldn't be too surprised if a few students took advantage, that's a deal and a half.
Guest parky0607 Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 I bet there's a mysterious power cut to the ovens. Anyone bothered to read the t's and c's of this offer? oh, and an engineer can't be on site for at least 5 hours, in which time the game will have kicked off and it is no longer pre-match
