A three game snapshot isn't enough for accurate reflection. It's the start to the season we had that will cost us IF we fail to make the playoffs, not a couple of results in March... Mountain to climb but still possible.

cc_star Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Excellent performance, not really any question marks over anyone other than Bamba's judgement at bringing the ball down & not just making clearing headers However everyone played well, yes including Oakley so the haters will have to look elsewhere for a scapegoat We didn't deserve to lose Play-offs are going to be difficult now, & if it was an other side who we didn't have an emotional attachment with you'd say it was purely a mathematical chance not a realistic one

shailen Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Saw this game on stream, after waggy came on we battered them waghorn had 2 golden chances alongside king whose header was close. we lost this because we went for the win rather then take a point which i admire but we paid the price for that. Waghorn should have definately scored though but a good performance from the lads, best i have seen all season away from home!

Yep Sven has done fantastic the trouble is we cannot afford a poor run of form as we are playing catch up. To get within sniffing distance of the playoffs then fall away is disappointing just hope we can turn it around again sharpish.

Not 100% sure why Yakubu was taken off, he played well today, as did Mee and Bruma. Ricardo did nothing wrong either. Onwards to Norwich, games keep on coming.
