cityangel Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Hiya, a nice Norwich fan here who wondered if someone could give me some help for Tuesday night. We will be driving in on the A47 from the Peterbrough direction, arriving about 5.30pm and wanted to know the best place to park so we can get back onto the A47 easily and also is there anywhere to get a meal within 20 mins walk of the stadium, either decent pub food or a frankie and bennys, harvestor or something like that. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help. There's a cinema/restaurant complex near the ground, you can get something to eat there and if you're lucky you'd probably get away with parking there. If you don't want to risk it there are carparks either side of the rugby ground.
Jackirius Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Not going to this due to work experience interview in Spain. I'd stick with the same team as Saturday as it sounded as if we were the better side. This game one of the most vital matches for a long time. Slightly worried due to us having countless opportunities but not making them into goals, against a Norwich side that have pacey wingers and seem to score right at the death. What kind of work experience do you do in Spain?

Thanks for that, any idea what the cinema is called or the name of the complex so I can google it to get a post code for my sat nav ?
Webbo Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Thanks for that, any idea what the cinema is called or the name of the complex so I can google it to get a post code for my sat nav ? It's the Odeon on Freeman's Park LE2 7LT.

cityangel Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 It's the Odeon on Freeman's Park LE2 7LT. Thanks for your help, I think it will be a great game on Tuesday with both teams still in the mix, you've only lost 2 at home and we've only lost 3 away so it should be end to end stuff. Good Luck for the rest of the season from Wednesday onwards. CA
Candidcamera Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Ricardo Naughton Bamba Bruma Mee Gallagher Wellens King Waghorn Vassell Yak We really have to try to get the points and the defence has a good look about it so no Abe and Oakley.
STEVIE B Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Would like to see Waghorn start, seems a popular choice with many.Could give us extra energy, and something seems to happen when he's involved.May be an unknown quantity too !!
Rich Fox Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 First post on this forum that I've seen that says drop yakubo, I agree totally. Ok, 4 from 9 games but how many chances has he missed. At least 3 against cov, didn't go today but listening to rl, he missed a few again today. Waghorn should, and deserves a start. It was Waghorn who missed the 3 chances at QPR mate he seems to sky everything.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 The team should be: Weale Naughton Bamba Mee Berner Abe King Wellens Gallagher Yakubu Dyer/Vassell I doubt we'll play that team though. 1-1 draw. We wont want to lose, but we arent good enough to win at the moment. Anything less than 3 points would be a massive blow.
lcfcadam Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Perhaps if we give Waghorn the full 90 minutes that might be enough time for him to ACTUALLY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A FECKING CHANCE!!! Head over the ball man, it's not hard! Drove me mad yesterday...

Head over the ball man, it's not hard! Drove me mad yesterday... at least he is making the chances in the time hes on.. he shown against bristol that he can get them also.. plenty others have missed chances also so hardly right to single waghorn out
B52 Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Ricardo Bruma Bamba Mee Naughton Abe King Wellens Gallagher Vassell Yakubu Sub - Weale, Berner, Vitor, Oakley, Dyer, Waghorn, Schlupp.
shailen Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Why is everyone questioning the yaks performance! He isnt lazy, he just makes the game look easy like berbatov does for man utd. Waghorn missed easy chances against QPR, the yak almost lobbed kenny from a stupid angle and distance.
Webbo Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 I was critical of Yak against Bristol and Cov but I thought he had a decent game yesterday.
Christoph Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 I honestly dont care if we win this by an own goal. I just want those 3 points
acooling08 Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 I honestly dont care if we win this by an own goal. I just want those 3 points Surely this applies to any game we play.
Danno Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Ricardo naughton bamba bruma mee wellens Abe king Vassell/Dyer Yakubu Gallagher
ThorpeAstleyFox Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Ricardo Naughton Bruma Bamba Mee Abe Wellens King Gally Yak Waggy ^^^ This ^^^

Waghorn missed easy chances against QPR, the yak almost lobbed kenny from a stupid angle and distance. To be fair,Yak isn't being criticised on this thread by everyone. Most have chosen Waghorn and Yakubu to lead the attack together.IMO they would work superbly in partnership-Waggy's energy & workrate, with Yak's guile & experience.
B52 Posted 7 March 2011 Posted 7 March 2011 IMO they would work superbly in partnership-Waggy's energy & workrate, with Yak's guile & experience. It might work. I love the idea of Vassell in the last quarter when the oppo is tired after Waggy and Dyer.
cc_star Posted 7 March 2011 Posted 7 March 2011 I thought everything worked really well against QPR, so I'd be inclined to stick with the same team, except replacing Vassell with Waggy, who's energy & workreate will give defenders less time on the ball than if if DV was partnering the Yak Ricardo Naughton - Bruma - Bamba - Mee Abe Oakley - Wellens - King Waggy - Yak I'd bring Vassell on as sub when his pace is likely to have more effect later on (like mentioned above) & replace whoever's having the least joy out of Waggy & Yak ps. People criticising Waggy for missing 3 chances at QPR... that is precisely 3 more chances than Vassell made for himself, if he keeps getting in poistion & getting on the on the ball & doing that, he will score - just like the rocket against Bristol City pps. He's scored 1 more goal than Vassell than this season and from far less time on the pitch

I think I'd have to go for Ricardo Naughton Bamba Bruma MeeWellens Abe KingVassell Yakubu Gally Reason being that this was the last midfield/attacking combo we had that were consistently winning games.
luckyalex13 Posted 7 March 2011 Posted 7 March 2011 Ricardo Naughton -- Bamba -- Bruma -- Mee Wellensb -- Abe -- King Dyer -- Yakubu -- Gallagher with vassell as an impact sub to bag the winner
