stivesfox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Keep with hope he might start scoring or should he go and save ourselves some cash!!!!
Filthy Fox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 fair enough yak is terrible and doesn't try, but the whole team are to blame today
stivesfox Posted 8 March 2011 Author Posted 8 March 2011 No agree they are all to blame i am asking do we keep him in hope of a miracle or save ourselves some money as he isnt going to stay next season.
ibbosuk Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 He Looks to old, overweight...We need a young fresh centre forward.
Conscript Fox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 He Looks to old, overweight...We need a young fresh centre forward. They say the top clubs dont send you their race horses, only their donkeys. Yakubu.
Haydos Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 They say the top clubs dont send you their race horses, only their donkeys. Yakubu. Urgh. Get a fvcking life. Seriously.
Babylon Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 No agree they are all to blame i am asking do we keep him in hope of a miracle or save ourselves some money as he isnt going to stay next season. You can't.
cc_star Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 No agree they are all to blame i am asking do we keep him in hope of a miracle or save ourselves some money as he isnt going to stay next season. He's signed till the end of the season so we can't, whether he's going to stay next season or not is unknown, if he isn't should we be playing players who will be?
Conscript Fox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Urgh. Get a fvcking life. Seriously. Ok ....... here is is put nice and simply for you. Everton cant buy a goal but we are paying the wages of their multi million pound srtiker. And have paid a fee for that privilege of maybe 1 million, I have read. Putting the pieces together yet? You pig ****ing halfwit.

Yeah I know, we were LIVID when the Yak first came here and was in great form. LIVID. I know I nearly threw my laptop at the wall when I saw him bag a stunner against Derby. Useless fat twat. The whole team is at fault for our recent downturn in form, not solely Yakubu. Fvcking hell.

OH FFS you stupid **** ing ****, are you blind as to see he has contributed shit all in the last few home games? A wonder goal every 5 games doesn't make up for no effort. He couldn't control a ****ing ball today. I COULD HAVE SCORED THAT FREE HEADER. So what he's scored some goals, he never challenges, always loses it, can;t ****ing run. If he scores a piss easy chance 1st half its a lot different. JUST BECAUSE HE'S YAKUBU DOESN'T MEAN HE CAN'T BE CRITICISED.
Kilworthfox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Horrific tonight! No effort No interest No f'ing good at all.

I bet you were fine with him bagging for fun a few weeks ago.

JUST BECAUSE HE'S YAKUBU DOESN'T MEAN HE CAN'T BE CRITICISED. Alright then Dad, sorry. Please don't spank me. I'm pretty sure that against Bristol City (the home game before Cov) the Yak bagged, did he not? I'm also sure that the Yak was responsible for King having a clear run on goal in the Barnsley game (the one before Brizzle) from which King scored, yes? The home game before that was Millwall, where he also scored and generally gave their defenders a headache. Not to mention Sheff Yoo away being sandwiched between Barnsley and Millwall where Yak's inventiveness set King's goal up. By my reckoning, it's been 2 home games since he last scored. I forgot he was meant to score in every single one, especially in an out-of-form team otherwise he needs shipping out. It's the whole team out of form - 3 defeats in our last 4 prove that - not just Yakubu. Don't let facts cloud your judgement though, you "stupid **** ing **** ".
ithuriel Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Yak was piss poor tonight, outpaced, outmuscled and outplayed by Norwich defence.
broughtonblue Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 there seems more fight and aggression on foxestalk than on the pitch
philce Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Is it just that the opposition teams have just sussed out Sven's tactics, and he wont change so this is what happens? Howard plays the same, gets frustrated when it's not going for him and struts around with his hands on his hips moaning?
LCFC94 Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 At the end of the day he's having an off few games but you cant keep talking avout form from previously it is about now, however you need to play in order to turn it around!

Did I blame him for the entire teams downfall ? If so where? No, I didnt. Did I comment on the guy in a thread specifically about him on a Leicester City forum ? Yes. I asked why Everton, at the time a side in need of goals, might have made available a player they had paid a lot of money for, to score those goals. I think we can now clearly see why ..... there are days when this guy just does not fancy it, and these days are becoming more frequent after a bright start.
somebum Posted 19 March 2011 Posted 19 March 2011 Its hard for a 35 year old to maintain fitness for a prolonged period. His trick is (and watch out for it in the next couple of games) to come off injured and recuperate for a few games since his body cannot take so many games at this age.

I thought Yakubu was around 28?
acooling08 Posted 19 March 2011 Posted 19 March 2011 He has been consistently shit for the last 6 games. Sven, I'll give you my £591 in the bank to drop him and send him back to Everton.
