Pass these 2 Cup Final matches with victories in each should see us getting into pole position for the playoffs. We are still hanging by a thread... but then again, do we deserve to be in the playoffs. Thank fook those 2 Chelsea clowns won't be with us next year.

& Nottingham Forest & Watford because they are all around us.

We're not out of it, only four points I think, but we need to beat teams around us now (obviously). Starting with Burnley on Saturday.

I don't get the 2 Chelsea clowns bit. I hope that doesnt include Van Aanholt because he did nothing wrong in my opinion. His getting forward was great and his crossing was great.

It's simple, if we're in the top six after 46 games we deserve to be there, if we aren't we don't.

And we should be looking to win every match no matter what the circumstances are.

I didn't see the game today but up until today he has been an absolute clown.

Even if he did play well today (and plenty of people have said he didn't), it doesn't erase his previous performances, which, bar Derby, have been inept at best.

All admirable, but he's been at fault for plenty of goals against - so as a defender who's primary job is to defend I wouldn't rate him to highly, in fact he's only the 3rd best LB on our books at the moment behind Berner & Mee, but much like2 Bruma it looks like he'll play 100% of the time he's fit no matter how bad he is

We were 4 points off the play-offs at 3pm.

We are still 4 points off the play-offs now.

The only difference is one less match.

We were not good enough for the play-offs at 3pm.

We are not good enough for the play-offs now.

And matches are running out.

For the record I agree, we can't play like this and do so poorly and still expect promotion.

I was making a point that even though dropping the two points was massive, overall not much has changed from our last match, which you agreed with.

Yeh I agree, some people are talking about the points situation, saying 4 points isn't that much etc, but the way I see it is the points gap is a bit irrelevant if we aren't good enough, so my comment was aimed at them. It gets a bit silly when people are going 'play-offs are gone' or 'we can still make the play-offs' after every game.

Could beat burnley but I don't think we will beat Reading.

Opposite for me..

Mark my words...

We will win all our remaining games, batter Leeds in the play-off semi's and beat Cardiff at Wembley

That's what annoyed me. We're in the same position with regards to points for a while now but as you say, when we can't even beat a team who are what, 18th (?) in the league after being 3-1 we aren't going anywhere.

It's feasible for someone to make up 4 points in 7 games or however many left it is we have, but we won't unless there is a minor miracle.

As high as hopes were after Waggy's goal against Bristol City though, we can't complain with our season in general imo.

If this happens i shall buy you several pints. lol

We have to win every game to make sure, which isnt going to happen.

The only potential highlight of this season remaining is winning at Forest to add more misery to their promotion push.

Problem for us is the fact that we cannot keep a clean sheet, and have not done so at home since Forest in November, we've also shipped 37 goals on the road, which means we need 5 points to sneak back into 6th with the goal difference being shite.

Credit to Sven for keeping us up, but as for going up, its not going to happen.

We need to beat them and Forest and probably another two teams to get into the playoffs and that isn't going to happen I'm afraid. This argument of the full backs are 'great going forward' really doesn't sit well with me. It isn't their main job to gallivant up the pitch and leave us exposed to counter attacks, their main job is to defend and if they don't defend well they aren't worth their place in the team.

Its over.

Momentum has gone and other clubs have got the winning streak now.

We cant keep losing and drawing and still hope to be in the mix.

The sooner we realise that the better.

Hope im wrong tho!!!

These are all sensible comments but the table doesn't lie. I am not saying we will get to the play offs. The Burnley match is the clincher for me. We will not be able to see daylight after that one if we continue to play poorly.

Game's up, towel's thrown in, it's all over bar the shouting. The fight has gone out of the team, too many big time charlies now with little passion for the club. Goodnight, farewell, see you on the other side.....
