lestajigs Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Anyone think we will get a better attendance then normal tonight, because off the pie un pint thing?? I think we will get just over 25000, which ain't bad for a Tuesday night!!!
Larry_LCFC Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Still alot of green blocks. Very few areas are sold out. If people didnt buy the tickets while the pie and pint offer was on, I doubt they'll buy em now its more expensive. I reckon 22500 tops. Very disappointing. Once again shows our fickle fanbase.
lestajigs Posted 12 April 2011 Author Posted 12 April 2011 23,782 What, don't you think more people will come for the watered down larger and the Luke warm pie!!! Ha
Larry_LCFC Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 What, don't you think more people will come for the watered down larger and the Luke warm pie!!! Ha Not to mention the tickets being £6 cheaper
Kitchandro Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 The part timers will probably not bother because the play-offs now seem an uphill task. Also a lot will want to watch Man U-Chelsea

I don't see how 22500 would be that disappointing? Palace won't bring any, our last weekend game 'only' fetched 24000 and mid-week attendances are always going to be lower. Just looking at attendances in our final season at Filbert Street (in the Premiership)...our first night game (remember them, the famous night games at Filbo?) was against Middlesbrough. The attendance? 15,412.

Guest Bilo Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Cant really blame people for not bothering. Still, if you want to feed the excessive lifestyles of the clowns on the pitch, be my guest. If you really aren't trolling and feel like that after a performance and result like Saturday's of course.
muzzy1981 Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Teams like Man U and Chelsea only exist so that fake football fans can pretend they love the game. After the weekends result play-off fever is back on in my house! Hence why I'm heading up from Cheltenham (via work in Bromsgrove) to back the boys!!! Get into em!

Go and tell that to the people that have supported them for 40+ years and follow them all around Europe.

Thracian Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 After Saturday's performance the place ought to be full - but it won't be. I reckon 23,812. And no reason we shouldn't win.
crisp monster Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 22,843 (should be more though) Hope my lad can stay awake through it and kip in the car back to Bedford. The joke is , if we go on a great run till the end , there will be at least 60,000 after the 30,000 allocation we get for Wembley

Two points here. £20 is still a lot of money to quite a lot of people just to watch a football game. And, It doesn't make people fickle if they cant afford it. 20k+ is a good turnout out for a club in our position on a Tuesday night..
Brown Fox Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Well before the Bristol game everyone was predicting 22k and we ended up with 28k. Ok we were on a good run back then but I think we'll all be surprised with the eventual turnout. 25k i reckon.

So your telling me that if we were currently sitting in say 6th on a 10 game unbeaten streak the attendance wouldnt be higher because people cant afford it? I bet it would be atleast 28000. You only need to read a few threads on here to see people say "im not going cause we cant make the playoffs" etc. That to me just makes some people fickle part-time supporters.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Id rather have 19k passionate fans than 32k with 19k of those actually bothered. I mean I don't want to be sat next to someone whos only at the game because of the offer! The best offer the club can do is to get the kids to the games-as they often do. They are the future of our club. Just hope they don't take note of the drum and ring of fire!
