Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 21'000 but even though that sounds disapointing, it will still be one of the better attendances in the league tonight as we have good solid support, despite critisism from some. Come on City
hackneyfox Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Also a lot will want to watch Man U-Chelsea What side is it on?
hackneyfox Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Id rather have 19k passionate fans than 32k with 19k of those actually bothered. I mean I don't want to be sat next to someone whos only at the game because of the offer! The best offer the club can do is to get the kids to the games-as they often do. They are the future of our club. Just hope they don't take note of the drum and ring of fire! Perhaps you should support the club rather than just want a good time at the game?
Fox92 Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 What side is it on? Not sure if they'll be many there. The deal is on so maybe. Can't see it being a great atmosphere because I don't think Crystal Palace will bring many on a Tuesday night (bit of a distance) and away fans generally influence and increase the atmosphere.
smallpauldj Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 I can't help but reply to this. Time and time you here it costs to much for the league were in. That same team matched man.city this year and in a mid week game oh look how many managed to get to Manchester. And if we make wembley bet you all pay the 40 pound plus for your ticket to watch the same championship (shit) football as people describe and after the travel and food etc it's a 100 pound maybe more day out. I'll go to watch Leicester if we dropped right out of the league altogether and yeh maybe the players are overpaid but as waggy shown at Cardiff last year they want to win just as much as we want them to.
ajthefox Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Would love to go but can't due to money and the slight matter of a quarter of my whole year being assessed on thursday. Hope this is a valid enough reason for those taking a pop at our support, even though the 20k odd that will be there is still decent for a championship weeknight.
samuel Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Still alot of green blocks. Very few areas are sold out. If people didnt buy the tickets while the pie and pint offer was on, I doubt they'll buy em now its more expensive. I reckon 22500 tops. Very disappointing. Once again shows our fickle fanbase. Fickle Fanbase.???. You fool. People might just have Families, Mortgages, Bills to pay before paying to see Leicester twice in 3 days!!. Alright if you are an aimless student, or a clueless lump living with mummy and daddy though, with the only outgoings being Warcraft subs!!
thebluefox Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 I delayed going away to go to the game on Saturday so can't get tonight. I'm now wishing I was going tonight. I'll be cheering the lads on from here though. Anyway 23,457 tonight
AmyLGK Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 If I lived near by I'd be going! <_< Instead I'm listening to it online and NOT watching the man u Chelsea game!
harryboi72 Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 I would be going but as im 13 i cant really drive there, my dad is working away during the week so he cant take me, and nobody is around to take me so i wish i could go but i cant
jonthefox Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 I would be going but as im 13 i cant really drive there, my dad is working away during the week so he cant take me, and nobody is around to take me so i wish i could go but i cant Bloody kids today. next you'll be telling me you've never dealt crack.
acooling08 Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Believe it was 22,303 if I remember the annoucment correctly.
Larry_LCFC Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Fickle Fanbase.???. You fool. People might just have Families, Mortgages, Bills to pay before paying to see Leicester twice in 3 days!!. Alright if you are an aimless student, or a clueless lump living with mummy and daddy though, with the only outgoings being Warcraft subs!! Yeah and people would still have all them things to pay if we reached wembley. But that wouldnt stop 60,000 people chasing our allocation would it.
Donut Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Shit crowd, shit game, shit performance and a shit ticket offer.
themotivator Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Shit crowd, shit game, shit performance and a shit ticket offer. always the optimist eh.
Donut Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 always the optimist eh. Im right on all four counts though
themotivator Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Im right on all four counts though i'm afraid i dont believe your analysis is quite thorough enough.
Neil_LCFC Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Yeah and people would still have all them things to pay if we reached wembley. But that wouldnt stop 60,000 people chasing our allocation would it. That is exactly the same for every club in the country, more turn out for big games /cup finals semi's etc always has been always will be .
