FuriousFox46 Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 "It' time to send the loan men back. Yakubu, (Would we have been any worse off if Waggy had played, at least we would have seen passion and commitment) Bruma (Say no more, how Sven thinks he is better than Vitor or Mee is anyones guess) Van Annholt (Cannot DEFEND to save his life, anyone with a brain cell new yesterday that defending was the priority against kebe) Kamara (One hit wonder so far) Naughton - Mr reliable, we can only hope he signs. Ben Mee - The perfect partner for Sol, the defence would not have been all over the place had he rightly kept his place yesterday. STILL UNDER SVEN YOU PLAY WELL AND GET DROPPED. Vitor, Mee, Vassell, and Waggy when come off the bench. Would we have been any worse off if Hobbs Berner, Waggy and Dyer had been playing regularly, I think not!!! Instead the club has wasted a fortune on stupid wages for players who are not better than what we had, or big time charlies who are only here for the paypacket and the potential signing on fee. As mentioned many time before by myself and now others on here, Swansea, Norwich and Reading have none and there seasons are well and truley alive." ANDY, LEICESTER

FuriousFox46 Posted 17 April 2011 Author Posted 17 April 2011 I can tell you with much confidence that someone will call this thread pointless/negative/mongish/self-indulgent/from not a real fan. True. But they're not my views so I don't really care
ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Send the loans back and play Mee and Vitor. That's my favourite opinion on here from the past few days.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Nowt to laugh about, the blokes bang on
Chairman of the Bored Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Agree. Quick fixes don't work. Either players sign or we aren't interested.
Haydos Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 "It' time to send the loan men back. Yeah, he would have been able to stop him defending like a school kid Would we have been any worse off if Hobbs Berner, Waggy and Dyer had been playing regularly, I think not!!! MC Prussian Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 So most of the loan players and Sven's approach have not helped us getting out of the relegation zone, arriving in close distance to the playoffs? Some of our fans... I despair. This three quarter of a season thing was supposed to be an experiment in the first place, anyway. You could also look at it and call it one major pre-season tour - at least I try to see it from a positive side. We'll be back stronger and better next season.
davieG Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Just bollocks really. "It' time to send the loan men back Except he doesn't mean that he means send Yakubu, PVA and Bruma back but play Naughton, Vitor and Mee. I also seem to remember Waghorn and Hobbs being loanees. It might have helped if Andy actually applied some logic to his rant.
nuttytimmy Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 I think we can clean this up so it's in English and is near-coherent: "It' time to send the loan men back. Yakubu, (Would we have been any worse off if Waggy had played, at least we would have seen passion and commitment) We'd be better off playing Waghorn (who's injured) than paying Yakubu £20,000+ per week. Bruma (Say no more, how Sven thinks he is better than Vitor or Mee is anyones guess) I have no comment on Bruma. Van Annholt (Cannot DEFEND to save his life, anyone with a brain cell new yesterday that defending was the priority against kebe) Kamara (One hit wonder so far) Van Aanholt isn't a very good defender, as most regular attendees at the Walkers' would notice. On an entirely unrelated note, Kamara has only scored one goal. How about that? Naughton - Mr reliable, we can only hope he signs. Our right-back (currently on loan) has changed his name by Deed Poll. I hope he signs a permanent contract with our club. Tricky to make sense of, this Ben Mee works well with Bamba and I believe that his inclusion in yesterday's squad would have resulted in an improved performance. I am frustrated that Eriksson insists on dropping in-form players, as he has done with Vitor, Vassell and the aforementioned Mee. As I have already said, also, I would prefer to see the injured Waghorn make an appearance from the stands, whilst on crutches, than our current strikers. Would we have been any worse off if Hobbs Berner, Waggy and Dyer had been playing regularly, I think not!!! Instead the club has wasted a fortune on stupid wages for players who are not better than what we had, or big time charlies who are only here for the paypacket and the potential signing on fee. We should play our fully-contracted players more regularly and not rely on those dropping-down from the Premier League. As mentioned many time before by myself and now others on here, Swansea, Norwich and Reading have none and there seasons are well and truley alive." There are other teams in this league who are fighting for promotion without Premier League loanees and their prospects are "truely" [sic] good. Actually, his arguments look half-decent put like that. Well, apart from whatever rubbish he's on about with Waghorn. ANDY, LEICESTER TIM, LANCASTER

ANDY, LEICESTER Swanse have Tamas Priskin and Fabio Borini on loan, Norwich have Henri Lansbury. So yeah well done mate good research.

acooling08 Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Swanse have Tamas Priskin and Fabio Borini on loan, Norwich have Henri Lansbury. So yeah well done mate good research. A couple of loans here and there is OK but 6 of our outfield players at one stage were loanees yesterday (PVA,Naughton,Vitor,Bruma,Yak,Kamara)
Dames Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 A couple of loans here and there is OK but 6 of our outfield players at one stage were loanees yesterday (PVA,Naughton,Vitor,Bruma,Yak,Kamara) The alternatives are Lamey, Moreno, Berner, Dyer and Howard. Doesn't really fill you with great confidence does it? I'd dread to have thought what would have happened to Berner if he was up against Kebe yesterday.

I'm just saying that the way to get out of this league is with your own players (not loans) that don't have to be spectacular but play together well as a team. Look at our squad under Pearson. Barely star studded but we almost made the Prem.

Look at our squad under Pearson. Barely star studded but we almost made the Prem. But we also used loans to help get us out of League 1. We did almost get up but we'd have needed to make changes in the squad to be up there again.

buzzy Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Swanse have Tamas Priskin and Fabio Borini on loan, Norwich have Henri Lansbury. So yeah well done mate good research. loan players can work if they fit into the team/ bruma and the other chelsea tosser don't and are no better in what we had i.e hobbs morrison 2 young players who would benefit with a wayne brown sought of defender like last season because we have never replaced him.if anyone thinks bruma and the other chelsea tosser are better than thhose 2 can you explain why .take the line Swanse have Tamas Priskin and Fabio Borini on loan, Norwich have Henri Lansbury they have made them teams better

I'd dread to have thought what would have happened to Berner if he was up against Kebe yesterday. Probably no worse than what happened to Van Aanholt. And stop bringing up Lamey, no one's complaining about Naughton are they.
ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Probably no worse than what happened to Van Aanholt. And stop bringing up Lamey, no one's complaining about Naughton are they. Well I'm pretty sure Naughton's on loan, and the writer's first point is "It' time to send the loan men back." So are we sending them back or not? Bit contradictory.
