That's one theory.....

I wish we'd kept Pearson, but we didn't.

Sacking Sven would be crazy now. Yeh he's made some mistakes but we need to see what he can do with a full season.

Oh yeah not saying for one minute that he chose to up sticks and join an at the time Hull team in turmoil. But that's a different story.

Sacking Sven is a ridiculous suggestion. He's working with a team that's not his, they're looking incredibly unfit, thanks to a pretty much non-existent pre-season, relying on loan signings. He's not done badly if you look at it that way. Everything's set up for a proper push next season, we've got money, a manager with top contacts, fans and a decent base around King, Wellens, Gallagher etc.

Roll on 2011/12.

Yes it's svens fault Chris Weale is a bag of shit! Bruma was useless and the midfield non existent! But they are just as shit but thanks to weale.... And yak was shit! May aswel put birch upfront!

So 'resting' Weale to give Ricardo a chance after Sven said Weale had been great, and then not playing him for several weeks, and prior to this dropping him in favour of loan keepers Ikeme & Kirkland who were both superb didn't mess with Weales confidence then? Great management.

Over achieved last season, well, that seems to be an opinion that gathered pace early on in the current season when we sat near the bottom with Sousa at the helm. So, are hull over achieving now, or is the common denominator the manager? We sacked the best manager we've had since MON, and Sven isn't the answer IMO. The owners aren't putting huge money into a transfer fund, prefering to get loans over signings. It's all wrong, Sven hasnt done it for me, too many changes. I don't think he'll be taking pre season.

Pearson had a few good seasons with us, he had time in the seat to settle his squad and make the squad his own, he's currently doing that at Hull by buying playiers that he knows play for him and who want to play for him. They have imo been under achieving this season, until he got Fryatt in (a player who he knows plays for him)

I still am a big Pearson fan, he motivates players and gets them believing in their abilities, sure maybe he got an unfair deal here if you believe the reports that Sousa was approached before the play-offs, and most of us were annoyed and confused when he left under a cloud, Milan might have had to make the change for this club to go forward ie, the takeover by the Thai's.

With the squad we had though after getting promoted from Div 1, not many can say they thought we'd get so close to achieving promotion, mid-table at best was my own thought, i thought this might be our year under Pearson. He left though and we yet again unsettle a squad that he's motivated by bringing another manager in who obliviously the players didn't respect.

Anyway my point is, we can't keep swapping managers every 6 months, it's proven it's not going to work and hasn't since MON was here. We need some managerial stability, Sven is our man at present and fans are calling for his head already, it's crazy.

im not a sven fan but his going to stay for next season . the one thing he must do is get a plan b and plan c if things are not going to plan.also get rid of hamann and bring back powell because i think we miss powell as the defence minded coach.please get powell back we need him

Did he have a summer transfer window? Which other teams build their team in january? Prefer to get loans over signings. Maybe he doesn't want to panic buy? Please give me a response to this. Because you'll probably duck the fact I've confronted you on that bullshit and say it in another thread.

Forget everything else, this is the most important point. Even if you've lost faith in Sven, we've got to give him a chance next season or we're fvcked.

Spend should go as he's loaned a pile of kak, I'm glad the wankers on here will be hurting, but I don't care a fuk about them, my focus is now on the people who matter the Thai guys!!!

I would love them to sack that useless cvnt Spend, who's wasted a shed load of money on other peoples young and inexperienced players, and of course Yakoldman (YOU FAT BASTARDY CRAP MONEY GRABBER)

SPEND has SPENT and we have done FUK ALL.

SO BOLLOCKS TO EVERYBODY........THIS IS MY LAST POST OF THE SEASON.

FUK OFF AND GOODBYE.

Hooray - even when things are bad, there's still some good news.

now then, what disappoints me the most is that i can imagine the OP actually thinks that rather than just being a troll.

I love Ibbosuk, please keep posting :)

To be fair he has kind of got a point disguised in there. This season has been a very expensive learning curve.

It must have cost us a fair few million in wages and signing on fees and what have we really got to show for it? Apart from Bamba and Vas we haven't signed anyone, we havent got a squad ready for next season and we will continue to have to spend more to get there.

But we have learnt a lot of valuable lessons, and that is what we will need to proceed and maintain a push up the table.

Dont rate, Sven never have done, think he signs people off reptation and is tactically poor.

Though we need to stick with him, give him the summer and dozen games next season. SThink we have actually under achieved this season after getting up to 7th, but he needs the summer and support from all the fans.

Next season is the real time for him to show how good he is.

Going back to the original post if by December next year when we still change our defence every game and were doing nothing but starring at mid table it will be amazing how many of you will turn on Sven who are backing him now. Since joining this site I've learnt lots off peeps on here by reading things like for me yak and bruma would have been sent back ages ago, but from here I've learnt about loan contracts which mean we play players even if he knows there not that up to it but it saves money or is apart of the loan deal. A part of me would love to scream Sven out but I still think we have a better chance of getting quality in pre season with Sven at the helm. My fear is we don't make the play offs next year our owners leave and it's Portsmouth all over again but us this time.

Let's get behind sven and the boys, give him till Xmas before you judge him.bet all these people who want him out are the same wankers who wanted o'neil out after 9 games.!

Surely some of the expectations of this season are bit skewered. I was under the impression that once we'd signed sven the thai owners had decided, quite reasonably, to gamble on this season, opting to splash out big on loan players and see if we could push through to the playoffs and promotion.

We chose to take our chances on a hodge podge of loan signings instead of trying to build a settled, long-term squad which is A) difficult to do in the middle of the season, especially if you're only a mid-table club and B) going to be significantly changed once we are promoted.

Who could we have signed in January that would have been good enough to substantially improve our chances at play-offs/promotion and -looking long-term - be worth keeping in the Premier league?

Sometimes wonder about Leicester City Fans.

Wonder if the likes of Bristol City, Barnsley fans would think about our fans. Both of these clubs for example, ain't got a pot to piss in, fairly inexperienced managers, no money to spend. And our fans are moaning and calling for one of the most successful England managers to be sacked from our club.

The thing is, he hasn't any previous experience managing 2nd division clubs that wear blue and are from the east midlands!!! Unproven quantity=waste of time and money!!!

How ridiculous. He got some quality loans in and took us from bottom to still having a shot with 4 games to go. Give the man a proper chance, he's not had a chance at all to build his own team. Give him a summer with a few months to put together a proper team and see what he does. Get on his back if we're not in contention at xmas. And what would you rather him have done differently? Make some permenent signings in january when he's got no time to play them to see if they gel at all? I'm happy with the ways he's brought in loans and given it a shot, but I do expect some permanent signings in the summer.

I think people need to get with reality and calm down.

When Warnock went to QPR early/mid season everyone was expecting them to mount a promotion charge, which didn't happen.

Instead he spent the whole of last summer building his team and bringing in his own players and it looks like they will be promoted this season.

Therefore let's judge Sven at the end of next season, when he has had chance to oversee his preseason training and build his own team. It was always going to be a long shot of getting in the playoffs after the start we made anyway by the damage both in player morale and results that the Sousa legacy gave us.

Just be thankful we have the opportunity to be next seasons QPR rather than needing to be next seasons Brighton.

you sven lovers can't you see what's in front of you? you're so in love with the **** you can't see the obvious-what the hell is wrong with you?

April Fools Day was 23 days ago. Let Sven have chance in the summer to build his own team of permanent players FFS.
