But I think we need to look somewhere other than maynard, im sure sven has an ace up his sleeve

Surely you'd do it straight away to end all the speculation? Exactly. We've learnt here ourselves with CMS not to assume things until they have been 100% confirmed. Might be wishful thinking on our part with regards to Maynard, but I wouldn't wish to comment on something being gospel, until it is actually confirmed and concrete!

Nothing would surprise me with this Aye, I imagine if we put in a fat wedge of a bid in the next 24 hours, his nailed on contract won't be looking so nailed on. Not trying to be big headed or anything, just the way football is.

I know, it's not like fantastic forwards grow on trees, if there were others of that kind of quality then the other clubs would be in for them as well If we miss out on the trio of CMS, Yakubu & Maynard it will certainly dent my hopes a bit... The Billy Sharp's & Ched Evans' of this world just don't quite have the same impact for me
