True, but I just find it strange how there are quite a number of clubs with Billionaire owners but it's irrelevant if they don't spend it on the club. If he has that kind of money and is a lifelong fan then surely he could comfortably spend what we are and have a real go at getting you guys to the Premiership. You could have had Sven for a Million a year!! Pocket change for a Billionaire

We spent a lot more in the mid to late 90's. If you remember back that far... your lot were in Division 2.

He does not want to go to another championship side, not worth the upheaval. If they tie Maynard down for another three years (which is what looks like will happen), they can easily pick up a similar kind of fee from the Premier League one day if he does decide he wants a move. If they don't sell him then it's hardly an issue - he's their best player by a long stretch.

Your chairmans statement on your OS was changed from "we will not" to "we don't wish to". Why do you think that happened? There is a huge difference. Your chairman is Rich because he's a smart business man. IF Maynard says he wants to speak to other teams, he will sell him end of story. He even said if Nicky says he wants to go then they'd need to review things. That's the talk if a businessman. Lastly a player won't turn round to a fan and say he's off or he wants to go, that would be idiotic. He's never going to see you again so what does it matter. I don't think he'll come here, I think he'll try and sit it out but you guys need a dose of reality.

Thanks for your input though, I don't think any bristol city fans have divulged this information yet
