sphericalfox Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 I know Lee Marlow, it's the Yak signing. Err...He's pretty much confirmed that one. It's the secondary striker that is up for speculation kudos.
wattolcfc Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 I know Lee Marlow, it's the Yak signing. If you know him, ask him who the other striker is.. Just an idea to stop wild speculation
Clazie Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 I'm pretty sure it's Kamara. Don't hold me to it though.
Joeb.lcfc Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 not seen it anywhere bu this is on stringers twitter therandombloke @IanStringerBBC the end of our rumoured interest in Heskey then? IanStingerBBC @therandombloke for now yes. Don't rule out a loan later in the season though.

GH1 Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 Stringers tweet 3 hrs ago - how can this mean its the Yak tomorrow? Re Yakubu to #lcfc - national newspapers hint done deal, not yet. #lcfc side seems sorted, just #efc to agree to the deal. Maybe next week
jonw88 Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 Latest twist in the tale: TheNewStatsman Mark Charlton @LestaLegend It's not Big Emile, but it is an ex-England striker... If not Heskey then who? Surely not Owen who's signed a new deal, maybe Bothroyd? But the fact he says "ex-England" striker is like he's retired from international duty??
dannythefox Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 Bet it means were getting Kamara and Ranger or were getting Yak and no Heskey!

MikeyT Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 I'm suddenly feeling very underwhelmed with this list of ex England strikers.
trueblue111 Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 to be honest sounds like phillips, slightly glad its not going to be ranger though
MikeyT Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 Which ex England strikers played when Sven was in charge? Phillips seems like the only logical one i can think of.

jonw88 Posted 9 June 2011 Posted 9 June 2011 All the possibilities I could come up with who are still playing: Carlton Cole, Bobby Zamora, Alan Smith, David Nugent, James Beattie, Francis Jeffers, Robbie Fowler, Kevin Phillips, Nick Barmby...
