city4lyf Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 My dad was listening to the commentary yesterday and after the game apparently Stringer said He thinks Heskey will be a Leicester Player in the Summer. Not that he knows anything tho I reckon he secretly knows something! What you guys think?? Yak n Heskey or Heskey n Waghorn or Heskey n M.King
lcfcsnow Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 I really don't want him back, he's just a big clumsy oaf now who still hasn't learnt to score. Yak > Heskey for me, but both of them up front would be a nightmare.
Stevosevic Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 I really don't want him back, he's just a big clumsy oaf now who still hasn't learnt to score. Yak > Heskey for me, but both of them up front would be a nightmare. A nightmare for defenders.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Would be a dream for me. Probably would have to change our formation to 4-4-2 but that's not hard being a new season.
LCFCmatt Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Heskey and Yakubu. With Gallagher and Vassell on the wings
Callabinho Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Dont care if he comes or stays either way I'm getting his name on m'shirt CBA with waiting...
ajthefox Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Dont care if he comes or stays either way I'm getting his name on m'shirt CBA with waiting... You definitely won't be the only one if he does... Heskey would be worth having I suppose, would almost just be a slightly better replacement for big steve if he goes but I seriously question having him and the Yak in a 4-4-2 There would be sweet fa pace and unless we buy two REAL wingers and at least one player to make up the middle two -since we don't have a suitable pairing as it is- it would be a makeshift midfield at the very best.
funkyrobot Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Yeh buy heskey, he'll be good for 5 goals next season, maybe even 6! ;0)
North-LondonFox Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 its always good to have leicester lads in the team. v good player when he's in the mood and someone who loves the club - welcome home Emile
funkyrobot Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 I'm a leicester lad. Old, and couldn't hit a donkey's arse with a banjo. Sign me up too!
Zed Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Heskey wouldn't be to bad in the Championship. The problem for him was being in the Prem or playing International football? Would get a season out of him. I reckon if he comes in, Yak will go, hence maybe why Sven wants him? Joke: Emile plans to open a pub when he retires - because he's great at putting shots over the bar.
JamesAllen19 Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Yakubu and heskey up front vassell king wellens gallagher in midfield
ousefox Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Always rated Heskey, would love to have him back. People don't realise he's actually not that slow at all, especially since he's lost a lot of weight at Villa this season. I reckon he could even do a job on the wing of the 3 upfront.
jonthefox Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 I reckon heskey could do a job. But if im honest, i'd prefer the club to show a bit of vision and invest in someone with a good few years in them . Like nicky maynard for example.
dannythefox Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 yak and king all day long with waggy sat in behind them!
Kenners Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 If him and the Yak come our strikeforce would be something out of a Mr Men book, Mr Lazy and Mr Sitter
Rodders Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 yak and king all day long with waggy sat in behind them! Great idea. I can see Waghorn excelling in the hole between the front two. HIs greatest strengths are, of course, his vision, creativity, passing, long shots and ability to time a late run into the box, rather than his pace, strength and work rate (although not necessarily in that order). Fail.
shiv Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 I'd be very surprised if Heskey didn't join us in the summer.
Austin Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 I'd happily have him back although I doubt he will return <_<
m00nie Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 people slate yak for only scoring goals and not doing enough else they slate heskey for not scoring goals but doing lots of other work now if only they had a love child together we could have the perfect player... on a serious tip id be happy with heskey he would be a great addition to the team. him and yak together would be great...
ACF Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I'd happily have him back although I doubt he will return <_< There's something wrong with your sig. "Whats he wearing?" "It was a white woman" Just sayin.
jamiegoode Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 why wouldnt he join, he knows hes probs got 1-3 seasons of full-time playing left so why not finish it at somewhere where he could go down as a brilliant english player who lead by example and showed pride in leicester
