SMX11 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I am going to pick something that I think no one has said yet. Cardiff at home, first win under Sousa and the atmosphere was great, I thought that could have been the turning point but obviously it wasn't
21st Century Fox Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Sven's appointment and the Yak's goal against Derby.
gazfox9 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I'm going for Waggy against Bristol City too, tremendous finish. David James didn't even move. At the time i thought it was going to be a massive goal in our season, unfortunately, it went downhill from pretty much that game.
Father Ted Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Kings goal at derby - you wont see a better team goal than that all season, we were on a real roll then and the boys did us proud that game. The celebrations after vassell equalised at forest were decent too.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Coming back from 2-0 at Watford. Only to chcuk away the win and even the draw.
Jakemoore Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 The FA cup tie against Man City was incredible but I loved the league match against Barnsley and in particular Naughtons goal, I was in K1 for that match and went so mad that I fell over the row in front, great game.
darko2k7 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Yes the feeling i had after the Man City games, It was the proudest I have felt of being a Leicester fan in a long time Also the first half of Derby away .
KFS Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 The few away games that I've been able to get to. Forest- a mad topless bundle when we went 2-2 Palace- "2-0 down, who gives a fuvk, we're the Leicester boys and we're going up" Cardiff- Every little thing is gonna be alright Overall, a fun season, going to get serious next year.
Tommeh Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Yaks goal at Derby, Vassell's leveller at the Trees and the 2nd at Barnsley no idea who scored it (King?) utter carnage. Best trips overall have been Ipswich, Pompey, QPR and Preston.
acooling08 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 It was mental when vassell brought it back to 2-2. Shame Weale ****ed up the day
Brown Fox Posted 3 May 2011 Author Posted 3 May 2011 Surprisingly I rate the Millwall and Barnsley home games very highly as well. Millwall purely because they're a bunch of cvnts, and the fact that the ref was a tit letting it get to 3-2 then the red card got the whole ground bouncing and when that goal went in that was absolutely mental. Barnsley at home because we just made it look so easy and all of our goals were quality.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Yaks goal at Derby, Vassell's leveller at the Trees and the 2nd at Barnsley no idea who scored it (King?) utter carnage. Best trips overall have been Ipswich, Pompey, QPR and Preston. This exactly. Added with Waghorn v Bristol. Barnsley 2nd goal, wow. Pileup on the stairs. Not the latter though, Derby by a mile.
Scow Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Probably the Man City home game (Bamba/King goals) but also loved Scunny away (two quick goals from Vitor and Naughton) – not very often that we win by a three goal margin away from home!
Corky Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I enjoyed the trip to Scunthorpe, good performance and atmosphere.
samjohnson Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Both Man City games will stay with me for a long, long time. I quite enjoyed Leeds away also...
Simmo86 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Barnsley away was a corker TBF Celebrations for Kingys winner
Father Ted Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Forgot about the celebrations for vitors second at scunthorpe. All the leicester fans running to him and the other players joining in as well.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Hmm none out of the games I've been to. Palace away: Lost 3-2 Portsmouth away.... Portsmouth home. Lost 1-0 Reading away. Lost 3-1 (****ing hate Reading) So yeah, 4 defeats and not one meaningful goal suggests I should stay the **** away
loAf Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 well i live in Bahrain now, so only managed one game this year which was leeds on boxing day, 2 goals in 10 mins and the second from kingy being a cracker right in front of us. great day. Also the 1st Man City game, watching in a pub out here surrounded by Man City/ Man U/Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool fans, and nearly nicking it. Actually managed to get some respect from them rather than the normal sniggering 'who?!'
Swampdog Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Beating Cardiff at home and the man city games.. Cardiff because i was belling up all my mates to get me to the game (i live in notts and dont drive).. managed to get there at half time when we were 1-0 down and then saw 2 great goals in the second half to win
The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Theres a few that stick out in my mind- Waggys winner is one- pure ectasy and for one great moment a thought that we could actually do this. Also the waggy chant after was quality. Stewards holding up keys that had fell out of fans' pockets. My mates mobile ended up four rows in front! Beating leeds twice away was special- for my own reasons. And the man city games as well. Bambas goal, harts balls up to set up king. The fact that many man city fans hailed us as the best fans they'd seen at eastlands was great!
