sdb Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Apparently not I thought he did as well until I Wiki'd him the other day when someone suggested we sign him `that was me. He'd be lethal at this level. If people are happy with Konchesky then they should be with N'Gog.
millzi Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 `that was me. He'd be lethal at this level. If people are happy with Konchesky then they should be with N'Gog. I'm not happy with Konchesky But I'll allow him time to convince me, he was decent at Fulham but never got going at 'Pool. Will be disappointed to see Tevez leave the Prem to be honest, he is a class player and was Man City's main asset, would be interested to see how they get along without him, I do wander where the goals are going to come from Apparently Aguero is joining, but we'll see.
shen Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Greening signs 3yr deal @ Forest. That's a decent signing. But 3 years? For a 32 year-old midfielder?
MikeyT Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Sky confirm Denilson to Sao Paulo on loan from Arsenal.
RedHux Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 That's a decent signing. But 3 years? For a 32 year-old midfielder? I agree, seems a bit much but it's consistent with our policy of getting nothing for a player once their contract runs out.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 July 2011 Posted 19 July 2011 I agree, seems a bit much but it's consistent with our policy of getting nothing for a player once their contract runs out. Would be surprised if his body holds up for another 3 years
RedHux Posted 19 July 2011 Posted 19 July 2011 Guy Moussi re-signs for Forest after receiving no better offers despite waiting for bloody ever and missing half a pre season. Dozy plank.
Narborough_fox Posted 19 July 2011 Posted 19 July 2011 Guy Moussi re-signs for Forest after receiving no better offers despite waiting for bloody ever and missing half a pre season. Dozy plank. Thought he was going to Everton?
RedHux Posted 19 July 2011 Posted 19 July 2011 Thought he was going to Everton? So did he....or at least his agent did. Thus the hanging about waiting for somebody good to come in for him. They didn't so he's stuck with us for another 2 years.

iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 19 July 2011 Posted 19 July 2011 Didn't realize Corinthians had so much money. Shame from the neturals view to see a quality player like Tevez waste himself in that league. Good players and skillfull etc dont get me wrong but would love to see him banging them in somewhere in Europe.
sdb Posted 19 July 2011 Posted 19 July 2011 Absolutely, although Aguero is about as good as it gets (realistically anyway).
millzi Posted 19 July 2011 Posted 19 July 2011 Aguero was all the hype a couple of years back but he seems to have dropped off the radar recently and you don't hear much of him. Will be interested to see if he can cut it in the Prem, cause we all know how useless his current strike partner was when he came to the big time, then he goes to Athletico and scores for fun. Tevez is an almighty loss to not only Man City but the Premier League as well, will be a shame to see him go. Quite a few of these South Americans seem to be going back to their home country to finish off their careers, obviously Tevez is a little younger than the likes of Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo and the like. Wouldn't be surprised if they went in for Neymar as well.
Wymsey Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 Tevez move called off by Corinthians Bet he's quite pi$$ed off now, I would be having the opportunity to play for a club in my own country and then bang!, have to stay abroad.
The Doctor Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 Bet he's quite pi$$ed off now, I would be having the opportunity to play for a club in my own country and then bang!, have to stay abroad. Corinthians are brazilian, not argentinian.

He's crap he is... And I have no idea what you mean by Agüero being off the radar. He's been on it constantly! Every transfer window rumours have linked him with big-money moves away from Atletico. And like LargeAl said Bet he's quite pi$$ed off now, I would be having the opportunity to play for a club in my own country and then bang!, have to stay abroad. Corinthians are Brazilian
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Uchechi On Trial With PoshPeterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has confirmed that Danny Uchechi, a 21-year-old Nigerian under 20 international striker, will feature for the club in Saturday's pre-season friendly at St. Neots. The front man played 45 minutes in the 3-2 victory over Notts County at Meadow Lane on Wednesday evening and Ferguson was happy with what he saw. 'Danny was reccomended to us and is someone that Mark Robson knows quite well. He is enthuiastic, he has been lively in training and we will continue to take a look at him this week. 'He is a Nigerian under 20 striker, he has been on-loan at a couple of clubs including Leicester City and you could see that he has something about him. It is sometimes hard when you have only trained a couple of times to come in and play a game, but he did well' Ferguson said. The Posh boss was delighted with the competitive element of the win at Meadow Lane and believes the players will have gained a lot from the fixture. 'It was a game that we needed, a very competitive one and the lads will have gained a lot from it. I thought we played some very good football in the first half. 'Ryan Bennett and Scott Wootton got 90 minutes under their belt, as did Paul Jones and that will stand them in good stead. We now go to St. Neots on Saturday and we will change it up a bit. Gabriel Zakuani will definitely play 90 minutes, he missed the game with a slight knee injury. 'I am happy with the progress that is being made, we are only two friendlies into the campaign, but the league campaign is just around the corner now,' Ferguson said. http://www.theposh.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10427~2397861,00.html

Corky Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Schteeve, JFH, Bwateng and now Rob De Kelly. Proper Dutch revolution over the Trent.
