Bugg Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Danny Collins is the worst left back they've ever seen according to my Stoke supporting mates.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Forest will still be looking for a decent left back when you've retired RedHux
RedHux Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 I think we've officially retired the position since Stuart Pearce.
Danno Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Just for the sake of housekeeping and so you can close t'other thread... Forest to sign MIller on Monday for 1.2m OS Link We're also going to sign an Australian (Carney) and another Welshman (Collins) too. Neither of whom I know a thing about other then the Aussie is only a bloody left back! I can really see Miller and Findley being a good partnership for you - Miller using his strength to feed it to findley, and bloody hell he's quick. *shivers*
MC Prussian Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Most people reckon Fabregas is a done deal, finally. Bloody hope so, boring me now. Today is supposed to be the day. I just makes me wonder how Barcelona can afford players like Fabregas with the wages they're on, when the club itself is roughly 480 million Euros (£420m) in debt. http://www.totalbarca.com/2011/analysis/fc-barcelona-economic-situation-june-8-2011/
The Doctor Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Fabregas to barcelona completed according to the beeb My link.
HEGGSY Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Ssn announce fabregas to barca a done deal he's just been unveiled to the crowd at the nou camp finally over.
MikeyT Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Ishmael Miller from West Brom. He has penned a three-year contract at the City Ground
ousefox Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Potentially £35m apparently, if Barca win 2 league titles and a champions league in the next 5 years, and Fabregas has to contribute some of his contract too. Makes Carroll's move to Liverpool even more ridiculous.
MikeyT Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Skysports.com understands that Arsenal utility man Emmanuel Eboue has signed a four-year contract with Galatasaray.
MC Prussian Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Alan Gow to Kingfisher. Yes, Kingfisher in India. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/scotland/14531983.stm
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Cardiff approach Notts Forest over Luke Chambers SSN.
lcfcsam Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Arsene Wenger just said on Sky that he's willing to pay 'thirty to forty million' on one player if they're the right man for Arsenal. Can see Arsenal having to pay really hefty prices for players over the coming weeks with clubs know they are a) desperate and b) quids in at the moment.
MikeyT Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Emmanuel Adebayor possibly joining Tottenham after Spurs boss Harry Redknapp confirmed they are in talks with Manchester City
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 Blackpool after Dexter Blackstock from Forest ! Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is in the market for another striker after the loss of DJ Campbell to Premiership new boys QPR. And, after capturing Kevin Phillips in the summer, it is widely believed that the Seasiders need at least one more frontman before the window shuts and could use the money from the summer sales of DJ Campbell and Charlie Adam to fund any Blackstock swoop.
shen Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 Falcao and Ruben Micael join Atletico That's no shabby replacement for Agüero even if he's bloody expensive! A bit surprised that none of the really big clubs came in for him. On a side note, Porto must be absolutely loaded by now! They've become the Ajax of recent times, selling top talent year after year: Deco, Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira, Pedro Mendes, Maniche, Derlei, Seitaridis, Lucho Gonzalez, Lisandro Lopez. Bruno Alves, Quaresma, Diego, Jorge Andrade, Raul Meireles, Bosingwa, Cissokho, Luis Fabiano... There's probably even more I've forgotten. The transfer fees involved in those alone must be around £200mil! Add to that the compensation fees for Mourinho and Villas-Boas along with their two UEFA Cup wins and their CL win... wow, just wow! With Hulk, Moutinho and Perreira all heavily linked with huge money moves, this could soon be well over £300mil!!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 The great one is coming home Harry Kewell signs for Melbourne Victory, i am a happy happy man today
Jaspa Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 The great one is coming home Harry Kewell signs for Melbourne Victory, i am a happy happy man today That's like AFC Wimbledon signing Vinnie Jones
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 That's like AFC Wimbledon signing Vinnie Jones Harry is actually from Sydney but to have him back in the A-league when he still has a bit left in the tank is great for our league. He is the most recognisble Aussie footballer and will give the marketing a massive boost here.
MC Prussian Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 Spanish winger Mata joining Chelski from Valencia for roughly £23m. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/14600979.stm
