Just seen on Sky Sports that Chelsea might be making a move to try a re-sign Scott Parker on a season-long loan.

I may be biased but he this is a good signing for them and a decent replacement for Danns

SOCCEROOS midfielder Mile Jedinak yesterday joined ambitious Championship side Crystal Palace, leaving Turkey to put himself in the English shop window.

Now a first choice in Holger Osieck's midfield after leaving the Mariners to join Genclerbirligi in 2008, Jedinak will forge an A-League link at Selhurst Park with assistant coach Tony Popovic, who held the same post at Sydney FC.

Indeed, Popovic was pivotal in the move, which will give Jedinak a higher profile in terms of the English game, and the 26-year-old said the switch there achieved an ambition. "I am delighted to be joining Crystal Palace at this stage in my career," he told the club's website.

"I am impressed by (head coach) Dougie Freedman and what he wants to achieve at the club and I cannot wait to get started.

"Crystal Palace has a fantastic heritage and a wonderful set of fans and I am looking forward to playing in front of them at Selhurst Park.

"Playing in the UK has always been an ambition of mine and I am totally determined to make my time here an absolute success."

The deal is subject to the granting of a UK work permit, but that should be automatic because Jedinak has played in the requisite 75 per cent of Australia's games over the past two years.

"I am absolutely delighted with this signing," Freedman said.

Wolves have completed the signing of Roger Johnson from Birmingham on a four-year contract

Great signing that, as said before it also leaves a massive hole and some big boots to fill in the Birmingham team which helps us massively.

I agree. Theres a few clubs interested in Dann as well, including Chelsea and Liverpool accoring to Sky. Both Dann and Johnson have been essential for Birmingham and this would be a massive loss for them.

Curtis Davies may get a starting place now.

Fulham have completed the signing of Norwegian defender John Arne Riise from Roma.

Skysports.com understands that West Ham have made a bid for Leeds star Max Gradel.

QPR boss Neil Warnock is set to complete the signing of former England international Kieron Dyer.

Skysports.com understands Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor is closing in on a return to Real Madrid on a permanent basis. (maybe face us then)

Burnley sign Manchester City defender Ben Mee on loan

Mee impressed in Leicester's 4-0 win over Burnley in April

Burnley have taken Manchester City's England U21 defender Ben Mee on a season-long loan, manager Eddie Howe's first summer signing.

The 21-year-old made his City debut in last season's Carling Cup and impressed during a loan spell at Leicester, making 15 Championship appearances.

Mee is a product of the Blues Academy and captained the youth team to FA Youth Cup success over Chelsea in 2008.

Clarets boss Howe has said he needs to lower the average age of his squad.

He has also agreed to let experienced centre-back Clarke Carlisle, 31, join Lancashire neighbours Preston North End on loan for a year

Probably been said somewhere else, but would liked to have seen him here.

They also signed Steven Caldwell from Wigan. He's had some success at Championship level in the past.
