letsallhaveadisco Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Ive been told by one of my sources that sven has been enquiring about Fredrico Macheda and Tom Cleverley, would like to see cleverley back but not too sure about macheda
Wymsey Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Wage bill would be a worry, but I wouldn't mind them at all. Good young players who have already been proven at the highest level. (Premiership)
Jimmy Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 the club Macheda is on loan at want him permanently, would love Cleverley but Man Utd always say he has a future there
letsallhaveadisco Posted 10 May 2011 Author Posted 10 May 2011 cleverley would be a good shout but macheda has only scored one goal for sampdoria since moving there which is worrying for a striker
Ashley Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Macheda was supposed to sign for us last season(don't know why he didn't) then a day or two later we signed Waghorn.
BrummieFOX Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 There's no way these would be permanent signings (especially Cleverley).
FoxyPV Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Not a chance. Cleverley is too good for us - maybe a loan spell, but even at that I'd be surprised.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 not a chance of Macheda http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_6925162,00.html

Itsthejoeker Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Y wud the wage bill be a worry becus them wil be on lotz nd lotz on moneys
clarkeylcfc Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 doubt it theyre young not first teamers and we have a good amount to spend
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Cleverly will be on the fringes of the starting 11 next season
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 No chance with either. Esp. considering Cleverley been performing well for Wigan in the prem. This would represent a massive step backwards in his development.

This would represent a massive step backwards in his development. You think? wigan are likely to be relegated so I wouldnt say that he was performing THAT well for them. Perhaps just better than the reast of the team.
Simo86 Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 You think? wigan are likely to be relegated so I wouldnt say that he was performing THAT well for them. Perhaps just better than the reast of the team. You can still be in excellent form as a player at a poor side, plus he's been playing against premier league players not championship ones so of course it would be a step back! Charlie Adam and Scott Parker have both been in good form at potential relegation candidates.
Narborough_fox Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Sir Alex has already said somewhere that Cleverley is in his plans for next season.
ajthefox Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 I'd be very surprised if we could get either of them here in all honesty
Nick Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 I'd be very surprised if we could get either of them here in all honesty Agreed - I'd take either in a heartbeat On an aside I can see Owen going to Liverpool under Daglish on a pay as you play deal...........
