When you're smiling :dunno:

We've got 'When You're Smiling' which I love but I'd like it played abit louder and everyone joins in like at other clubs. I do know what you mean though, songs such as 'Marching on Together' and 'You'll Never Walk Alone' etc are top class.

What about writing one or something? Might sound dopey but if you/me/anyone can come up with one and submit it and see what happens. Not sure what would happen, but you've got to start somewhere.

I refuse to let 'When your smiling' be our song!

Because it's "When You're Smiling?

Anyway, it is our song and it's criminal that we don't sing it more often and in larger numbers.

why?

It is nothing compared to them examples.

Only select 30% know the words. As opposed to 100% of Liverpool fans with 'You'll never walk alone'

When You're Smiling is our song and has been for years, criminal that so few of our supporters know the words to it.

Reckon this should get more recognition myself. :scarf:

Perhaps it would be comparable if people joined in. Not saying it would ever be as 'famous' or whatever but When You're Smiling would be immense if we could get the whole ground to sing it.

I just don't like it at all, and yes I don't know many of the words at all.

Marching On Together, You'll Never Walk Alone, I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles are really soulful and passionate when sung by Leeds, Liverpool and West Ham. When you're smiling just isn't like that somehow, it's hard to describe why. It just isn't anthem material imo.

It's because it isn't really 'sung', but grunted.

Most of the songs last season at home were mostly begun by the drummer. Songs that were not begun by him didn't last enough. Off topic but what's happened to Jobber? Saw his profile on Facebook with these nasty marks on his back.

When you're smiling is cringeworthy. imo.

**** off and support them then.

It's a great chant and would sound passionate with 1000s of us singing it as opposed to a few hundred.

It is and always will be our anthem.
