As for Routledge, he's ours if we can sort out a piffling matter with his current employers. Looking very good attacking wise for next season mate, just need a few tweaks like us. Namely a prolific goal scorer. Shame you've got a complete numpty as a manager.

We'll see about Schteve once we get going, but remember, if it wasn't for stupid brummies he'd be managing in the prem right now. We both definitely need a 20 goal a season man though.

Other than in his quite frankly ridiculous time with England he's done pretty well else where. Look at Boro what have they done since he left? As his first year back in England I think he'll have a few points to prove and Forest isn't exactly a bad club to do that at. If the (in)famously awkward board help him out I think we might be a bit more worried about them come the end of august than our current spending/recruitment would lead us to believe. Lineker's Left Foot Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 I think if Sven really wanted him we'd have him in a heartbeat, but I get the impression that Sven isn't too bothered by Routledge When you think we have King, Oakley, Danns, Wellens, Moussa, Abe, Gallagher, Dyer, Vassell (off the top of my head, I'm sure I'm missing someone) who are all midfield players or at least have been used in a midfiled type role, do we really need Wayne Routledge too?? I know we all agree he's a cracking player, but I'm not so sure Sven is massively bothered about signing him, it's been stated before that he wasn't in Sven's original plans Yes we do need Routledge - he is a winger and one who will provide ammunition to the forward line. If we get Maynard and Routledge IMO there'd be no stopping us !!
