Nile Ranger

I share my office with a Newcastle fan, my brother in law is a Newcastle fan, my nephew is a Newcastle fan and they all concur that they want rid and would be happy to offload him to us.

He's a liability and whilst he does have potential he's inconsistent, has an attitude problem and generally looks disinterested.

Now, a good manager such as SGE may, just mat be able to harness that rough diamond and turn it around to advantage.

Ge may be better out of Newcastle, as they seem to have a discipline problem throughout the squad.

To compare him to Waghorn is unfair, as they play the games differently.

No thanks, he can't seem to hit a cows arse with a banjo, his strike rate makes Akinbiyi look prolific. I reckon Crnic would bag more game for game!!!

He is utter gash.

Hence why they want rid.

Very overwated.

He got so much of a bumming fwom the sky commentators he had weason to book himself in the clap clinic the following morning.

Wonder who they want to part exchange that shower of shit Nial wanger for?

Another line to come out of St James' Park sees the Evening Chronicle reporting that Millwall want Newcastle striker Nile Ranger, but are not prepared to meet the £1million-plus asking price.

Not signing him will leave room for Diouf. :giggle::P

We could do far better than that by signing one-eyed bob the quadraplegic pirate.

His wage demands are too high apparently... And he wants a promotion bonus of a million peices of 8!

Echoing everybody's sentiments here, he is an absolute no-no. Makes Ameobi look like cruyff. Think Ashley trying to sell anybody worth anything before sale of club.....

He'd be worth it, he'd have this league at sword-point. :pirate:

the most important question is though: Does he have passion?

[quoteNile Ranger transfer race 'to see Bolton take on Millwall and Leicester'

Millwall are leading Bolton and Leicester in the race to sign Newcastle's Nile Ranger, with the striker surplus to requirements at St James' Park.

]The 20-year-old is has battled to earn significant game time and prove to manager Alan Pardew that he's worthy Premier League material.

Disciplinary issues have also plagued the young star, who is said to have racked up thousands of pounds worth of fines for turning up late to training.

Bolton Wanderers were believed to be considering an offer for the former England under-19 star, but it's Millwall who are in dire need of a forward after losing hitman Steve Morison to Norwich.

Rotherham attacker Ryan Taylor was put forward as another candidate but Bristol City are understood to have beaten Lions manager Kenny Jackett in the race to secure his signature.

Ranger's £1million price-tag could prove a stumbling block for the Championship side, though, with doubts over whether he can match Morison's impressive 17-goal haul from last season.

Fellow second-tier side Leicester have also signalled interest in Ranger, who is yet to score a top-flight goal from 24 appearances.
