Father Ted Posted 21 June 2008 Posted 21 June 2008 I once sent a letter to MA and he sent me a letter back, personally signed and 6/7 of the players autographs! Aswell as a signed programme when Taylor took over and a signed Damien Delaney shirt! Also my autograph book is quite full.
Guest Posted 21 June 2008 Posted 21 June 2008 I'm hoping I've just picked up a bargain off Ebay.1961 FA Cup final programme (in good condition) signed by Gordon Banks and Colin Appleton - £25 It seems good because the programme seems to be going for more than that on it's own without the signatures. A good little bargain I think. I've just spotted the programme from the game closest to the day I was born (I was 4 days old). SF has called me sad, and is questioning why on earth I would want a piece of tat like that.

Tommy Wright took my autograph book into the dressing room before a game and got it signed by the whole squad.

It's well out of my price bracket (whoever said they had a signed one, keep it, don't sell it, it'll be worth a fortune *morbid I know* especially when Banks is gone. Signed pennant by most of the 95/96 squad "Four Nil In 15 Mins" White away shirt from that famous day against the Shaggers Team sheet from the same match (Headed with "The Team Who Stuffed The Shaggers 4-0") signed by everyone apart from Lennon who was a miserable b@stard the day I got the signatures About a dozen keyrings & badges from the League Cup victories 500 odd programmes from 87 when I started going through to 2001 when they got too expensive. I've got a few more bits & bobs but they're the main ones

You keep all your tickets? How many you got? Ive been going every season for over twenty years, not quite all as a season ticket holder but dont save any tickets or books, perhaps i should have

That was my logic when buying it. Thought Banks' signature would give it a lot more extra value in years to come.
