Saxondale Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Any suggestions for an all-time worst Leicester XI? I'll start off with: GK: Zejlko Kalac (because he stood on the penalty spot for corners) CM: Junior Lewis (for obvious reasons)
Izzet is God Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Got to agree with Lewis (CM) and add Trevor Benjiman and Akinbiyi up front these two costs us £6mill!
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Lee Marshall on the left wing, and I'd like to point out that Frank Sinclair is nowhere near among the worst Leicester players. The odd disaster aside, he put in over 160 appearances for the club and was usually quite reliable.
One Arm Babba Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Zeljko Kalac Peter Canero Richard Smith Nicky Mahon Hossein Kaebi Junior Lewis Lee Marshall Josh Low Nathan Blake Elvis Hammond Graham Fenton Playing a 4-3-3 Formation with Nathan "The Hitman" Blake spearheading an extremely blunt front trio. This little ensemble is managed by Mr. Peter Taylor.
Jon25747 Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Definite midfield of: Josh Low Junior Lewis Andy Johnson Lee Marshall Kevin Pressman has got to get a look in for being lobbed by a goalkeeper!?

FrankieADZ Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 i think Franck Rolling deserve a spot in there aswell

LCFCmatt Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Carl Cort was dreadful, and Kelvin Etuhu was shocking when he was here briefly in 2008.

I was a bit harsh on Nicky Mahon and Richard Smith.... I cant really think of any stand out awfully bad centre backs we've had.
Guest MattP Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 What idiot said Sinclair? One of the most consistent players in one of our greatest sides ever. Kalac whilst shit for us went on to play 150 games in Serie A ffs. Worst I've seen off the top of my head. GK: Conrad Logan RB: Lee Marshall CB: Brian Carey CB: Matt Heath LB: Neil Lewis (still laugh when I think of his throw in at Leeds away about 1998. Funniest thing ive ever seen at a match) RW: John Low CM: Junior Lewis CM: Tony Spearing LW: Leroy Potter CF: Trevor Benjamin CF: Elvis Hammond

He was a tryer, for that alone he doesn't make it in to this team
Alan Young Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 GK - Kevin Pressman RB - Lee Marshall LB - Paul Friar CB - Brian Carey CB- Julian Watts CM - Nathan Blake CM - Lammie Robertson CM - Junior Lewis CF - Tommy English CF - Jari Rantenen CF - Roger Davies
MikeyT Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 kaebi was with us a few seasons back wasnt he or have i got him mixed up with someone else You're right, he was. I didn't highlight him simply because i never saw him play.
Wymsey Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 You're right, he was. I didn't highlight him simply because i never saw him play. I only saw him played briefly when he came on for 10 mins in a game a few seasons back. He didn't receive the ball mch, so I couldn't judge him then. (And only then)
