All-time worst Leicester XI

Ian Ormandroyd. He was as tall as Crouch but didn't have the skill, the heading ability, finishing, or the pace. Terrible.

Sinclair wasn't a bad player, he scored a few own goals granted but was a solid and dependable defender most of the time.

Lee Marshall, Jacob Laursen, Jason Jarrett and Dennis Wise should all grace the squad.

Pitiful the lot of them.

Zsolt Laczko - Made an outstanding first appearence then just fizzled out into the dire standard of player we had that season.

John Curtis - Truly awful fullback.

Any of the four seasons worth of players we had before our league 1 campaign!

Kevin Pressman

Jamie Clapham

Josh Low

Dennis Wise

What idiot said Sinclair? One of the most consistent players in one of our greatest sides ever. Kalac whilst shit for us went on to play 150 games in Serie A ffs.

Worst I've seen off the top of my head.

GK: Conrad Logan

RB: Lee Marshall

CB: Brian Carey

CB: Matt Heath

LB: Neil Lewis (still laugh when I think of his throw in at Leeds away about 1998. Funniest thing ive ever seen at a match)

RW: John Low

CM: Junior Lewis

CM: Tony Spearing

LW: Leroy Potter

CF: Trevor Benjamin

CF: Elvis Hammond

Who he?

good call, Curtis was terrible.... and he looked like the elephant man.

Junior Lewis un imaginably poor, what must Roberto Mancini thought when he had to line up in the same side as him?

They only played a couple of games together. Mancini fled back to Italy after that.. lol

Why oh why, on Filbert Streets green turf, have I not seen the name Ade Akin-fookin-biye been mentioned in this thread!?!?!?

Frank Sinclair shouldn't be in any bad Leicester team

On the other hand, Steve Howey should be included. He was aweful and pretty poor signing by Adams.

Looking back at MOST of adams's signing's they were poor :

Kevin Pressman, Keith Gillespie, Lee Morris, Peter Canero, Scott Gemmill, Nathan Blake, Chris Makin, John Curtis, Scimeca, Craig Hignett, Stefan Freund :crylaugh:

Who would the manager be anyway?

Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor

He did get us to the top of the premier league (I think). Never the less, he f***ed the club right over, and his signings were dreadful.

News of the World

"Alex Ferguson is ready to make a fourth bid for Leicester wonderkid Ricky Sappleton, 18. The Manchester United boss has already had a £500,000 bid rejected for the striker, who had trials at arch rivals Liverpool and Middlesbrough''

Anyone remember that?? :crylaugh:

McLintock.

Akinbiyi was a better footballer than Benjamin, people will just say his name because of the money we paid for him.

In this first season, Akinbiyi actually had a decent scoring record.

And bear in mind he was good enough to play in the Premier League, unlike a lot of strikers who followed him at City.

Worst manager? Toss-up between Taylor and Holloway.

All I can say is we've had some truly terrible individuals since the great O'Neil departed for Celtic. The one definite, every time, Dennis Wise. He was poison
