Sirius V City Match Thread

Also with regard to the team / formation - it makes me think of those midweek matches on FIFA when all my normal players are still knackered from the weekend so I have to change every position to an alternative, and my tiny squad means players have to end up in completely weird positions...

This should be intriguing anyway!

What you reckon Schmeichel would play 2nd fiddle to Weale?

Nah, but we all know what the fans think of Weale.

Kasper will have plenty of pressure on him.

Good point - one flap at a ball into the area and Schmeichel will become the worst keeper everyone's ever seen play for the club...

Only if they've had a lobotomy wiping their memory of Kirkland

Schlupp playing in defence?!

Hope not. Gotta feel for the lad. Scores goals in the youth team, goes on loan to a League 1 side and scores goals, gets a crack here and...he's a left back.

Schlupp at left-back, Oakley right-back with Berner and Ball centre back going by the team.

Well I think that's right anyway.

Crazy I know :crylaugh:

It's just a fitness exercise, so doesn't really matter where they play.

It does if you're a striker trying to stake a claim for the coming season and then finding yourself at left back.

I will put money on that Kermorgant will score twice.

4-0 win, Kermorgant 2, Moussa and Nugent from the bench.

It is a little bit odd but he played left midfield in a 4-4-2 a lot in the youth team the season before last so he's not exclusively a striker. Maybe Sven is testing his attitude and workrate. Still odd I agree but of course it's just about fitness at this stage.

I'm sure loads of players are going to get a run out, Schlupp may get a chance upfront while Weale drops in at left back who knows....
