lcfcadam Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Also with regard to the team / formation - it makes me think of those midweek matches on FIFA when all my normal players are still knackered from the weekend so I have to change every position to an alternative, and my tiny squad means players have to end up in completely weird positions... This should be intriguing anyway!
Corky Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 What you reckon Schmeichel would play 2nd fiddle to Weale? Nah, but we all know what the fans think of Weale. Kasper will have plenty of pressure on him.
lcfcadam Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Nah, but we all know what the fans think of Weale. Kasper will have plenty of pressure on him. Good point - one flap at a ball into the area and Schmeichel will become the worst keeper everyone's ever seen play for the club...
cc_star Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Good point - one flap at a ball into the area and Schmeichel will become the worst keeper everyone's ever seen play for the club... Only if they've had a lobotomy wiping their memory of Kirkland
sdb Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Schlupp playing in defence?! Hope not. Gotta feel for the lad. Scores goals in the youth team, goes on loan to a League 1 side and scores goals, gets a crack here and...he's a left back.
Ashley Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Is there a stream for this or is it just on radio leicester?
kingfox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Schlupp at left-back, Oakley right-back with Berner and Ball centre back going by the team. Well I think that's right anyway. Crazy I know
Narborough_fox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Tanner and Stringer the most hated commentary team on Foxes Talk.
LeeTheFox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Tanner and Stringer the most hated commentary team on Foxes Talk. Loooool!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 I realise how much I love this bloody club when I sit here listening to a pre-season friendly against a Swedish lower league club on the internet. Just listen to that atmosphere.
wakeyfox01 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 It's just a fitness exercise, so doesn't really matter where they play.
sdb Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 It's just a fitness exercise, so doesn't really matter where they play. It does if you're a striker trying to stake a claim for the coming season and then finding yourself at left back.
kingfox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 I will put money on that Kermorgant will score twice. 4-0 win, Kermorgant 2, Moussa and Nugent from the bench.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Kermorgant sounds like he is starting every attack at the moment...
Fez of Mahrez Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 It does if you're a striker trying to stake a claim for the coming season and then finding yourself at left back. It is a little bit odd but he played left midfield in a 4-4-2 a lot in the youth team the season before last so he's not exclusively a striker. Maybe Sven is testing his attitude and workrate. Still odd I agree but of course it's just about fitness at this stage.
Christoph Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Kermo to push himself into the starting 11 midfield
Fmfox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 hope kermogant can make a comeback and that people dont get on his back - good start for him
Madrid_Fox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 What the hell is with the line up? Substitutions a plenty at half time me thinks.
cc_star Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 seeming to be pinging the longer ball in not sure whether that's a tactic or a natural thing to do with Howard & Kermo in the box
Guest shearfox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 I'm sure loads of players are going to get a run out, Schlupp may get a chance upfront while Weale drops in at left back who knows....
