  1. 1. Should City bid for Shane Long?

    • Yes but no more than £6m
    • Yes but no more than £4m
    • Yes cash and player exchange
    • Only if we fail to land Nicky Maynard
    • Only if another Championship side makes a bid
    • No not a chance

we should get long. 7million may seem a lot to many people, but that is loose change compared to the amounts our owners have. Long, in my opinion, is one of the best young strikers around, and to get him would be fantastic. he has the ability to go on to big things with a bigger price tag than 7million

I think it is a fair price to pay he is obviously a coveted talent, and can only get better

I don't see that much risk in this one, if he has a half decent season and we don't go up then the same clubs will be sniffing around and we could always sell him on.

The 4 prem clubs that are intrested are Newcastle, west brom, sunderland and everton and personally I think only 1 of those clubs might bid like everton they cannot aford 7-8m Sunderland have just brought wickham so I doubt they would go for long and newcastle will start playing sammy ameobi this year so they don't need anymore strikers and that only leaves west brom that i think might bid but surely we can offer him a better wage package than them !

Newcastle got rid of carrol so have room for a striker, sunderland got rid of bent again have room for striker as they had welbeck playing up there aswel that will be wickham swop and yeah wba have mattock

Has any 1 seen shane longs acceleration on FIFA :o

I have an IF version of Shane Long on FIFA, 93 pace, wow.

Never mind FIFA, here you go, should get the pulses racing a little.

If I had a pound for every frame per second that video runs at, I'd have £1.

Think cash and player exchange would be ideal in order to get him. Maybe £4.5m + Dyer? :dunno:

Name me 5 player swaps that have occured in the last couple of years.....they rarely happen for obvious reasons

Yes but he only runs at the same frame per second as everyone else in it. A lot is spoken of Kebe's speed, Long would be right on his heels!

I knew he was fast but not tht ****ing fast well up for this now also on that video he is out on the left quite alot maybe that's were we will play him with Jong down the middle and nugent on the right ?

You really think Reading would accept that? & that you rate Dyer around 3mill,....haha, I know you post some crazy stuff but this is the best ever!
