Brainy Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 I have just had a very bizarre thing happen to me. I was in the William Hill's on Tottenham Court Rd and no other than William Gallas walked in, sporting a lovely pink polo and some flowers for someone. Anyway, he joined alongside me to look at the racecard for Newbury this afternoon and after giving him the nod as if to say ' I know who you are ' I then asked him about Keane. All Gallas knew was he's definitely off in the next week or so and that we've had representatives from our club down at Tottenham's training and pre-season games a few times in the past few weeks. He did say that Robbie belonged in the PL though. I'm not pulling anyone's plonker here either. That is unless this Gallas chap was a fake and i've been done up like a kipper like Sven was with the fake sheikh. hey, you havent given info before so i'm gonna have to take this with a pinch of salt, if you're right however then you can become a credible source.
Jollie Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 That is very bizzare! I don't doubt Sven and the Thai boys CAN do this deal but I just don't feel that they will. I hope I'm wrong cos it looks for all intents and purposes like a re run of the Yak deal except Keane isn't a bit fat and will cost us more a week. I reckon theres more chance of Sven persuading Keith Vas to play up front for us. I'm off to William Hill on Melton Road with my autograph book...

Could someone near the box keep a look out, just in case, and report back? I'm far too far away and am a bit shortsighted! I sit next to the directors box so I'll keep an eye out. Spotted Kamara last season and adebayor was basically 15 seats to the right against real Madrid. Will try and grab a photo if he's there.

There's always a chance people jump the gun when papers say things are practically done. If this summer has taught us anything, it's that there's no point getting excited until the player you want to see in a City shirt is holding the thing up on the OS (and even then I'm still a bit sceptical). Origin appears to be this from Shaka Hislop: "Hearing that Robbie Keane is on a flight to LA Galaxy as we speak. SFX have the deal already done by all accounts."
