The last thing we need is yet more changes, that's what contributed to the unsettled back line last season, and Sven's already at it again this season No top sides change their backline every week Yes tunch may have been great in Lg1 & he may be doing OK at Palace but we need to build partnerships so whoever plays (Bamba/Mills/Tunch/SSL) needs to have a run in the side You're having a laugh referring to him as if he's some league One footballer incapable of making the step up. Bulgaria couldn't call him back quick enough into their international side. I'd agree about partnerships but we're conceding two goals a game and if that's good enough for Sven and Fazackerly it shouldn't be because it will do our promotion chances no good at all. Tunchev not only reads the game well, he retains possession calmly and is just the sort of player to bring the best out of Bamba. My bet is that Sven doesn't want him back because of the problems it will cause with Bamba, Mills and St Leger, not because he wouldn't merit his place. And that's all very well if we weren't conceding goals like our politicians concede power to our European overlords. But we are conceding and have never looked solid apart from when we devoted most of our resources to defence against Coventry.

First thing Stringer has said for months that I agree with when he said that players get better in the minds of the fans when they're not playing. That's not the impression I've got from their fans!
