Raw Dykes Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 Still a liability though, 1st goal on Tuesday was down to him chesting the ball down instead of heading it away! But Mills and SSL have been so much worse than Bamba! Bamba's been one of the few decent players in a woefully underperforming team.
Fox92 Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 Still a liability though, 1st goal on Tuesday was down to him chesting the ball down instead of heading it away! I agree. I'm still not keen on Bamba. Its his long legs that get him out of trouble most of the time, and he's not dominating enough in the air. I like Tunchev, and a partneship with Tunchev -- Mills/St. Ledger would be great in my opinion and also balanced because Tunchev is a left sided, left footed centre half.
DanTheFox07 Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 I think Tunchev is really important piece in the jigsaw!!!! good that he is managing to play games and stay fit, is it just a month loan? because I expect to see him involved here after that!
SMX11 Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 Are you serious?! Have you not been watching any of our games this season? Bamba has been one of the few to come out of this season with any credit so far! I went on Wednesday and he was poor, I don't care if he does step overs or surges through the middle like a midfielder, he failed to do his job as mentioned he was most at fault for the first and some people say he should have done better for the second (haven't seen a replay so I won't comment). He must be nightmare to play with and we need a calming influence at the back i.e. Tunch.

themotivator Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Superb again today. no own goals, handballs or giving goals out on plates? dont get too comfortable with him
MONreborn Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Need tunchev back asap he will make a huge difference although this will give Sven an excuse to tinker in defence where continuity is vital
smudger63 Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 I hope we are actually having someone watch him, and see how well he`s doing, and not going to rely on whatever feedback Palace officials might give us!
MPH Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 I hope we are actually having someone watch him, and see how well he`s doing, and not going to rely on whatever feedback Palace officials might give us! " Hello Sven, this is Dougie at Palace.... yeah that Tunchev bloke.... got less footballing ability than a bag of cement. useless... but i've always like you Sven..... you're a nice bloke... i dont mind keeping hold of him for a while... help you out like... ok thanks bye" CLICK
NGoloMode Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 We're going to sell him for peanuts aren't we? Not after St Legder's debut. Hope not anyway.
gazfox9 Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Lets have him back. He's proved his fitness, played more games in the last 3 weeks for Palace than he has for us in the last 2 years!!
cc_star Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Continuity is what we need now Until the ref intervened we were comfortable, even when Forest got back into the game. The last thing we need is yet more changes, that's what contributed to the unsettled back line last season, and Sven's already at it again this season No top sides change their backline every week Yes tunch may have been great in Lg1 & he may be doing OK at Palace but we need to build partnerships so whoever plays (Bamba/Mills/Tunch/SSL) needs to have a run in the side

SMX11 Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Tunch & Mills. Make it so (In Patrick Stewart's voice)
NGoloMode Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 "We must extend Tunchev stay at Palace !!" http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=114063&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter They seem to like him. They haven't dropped points in the 3 games he's played for Crystal Palace.
Dell13 Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 A one year deal is too short for him. A quality defender and someone who will want to play 1st team games. Who's up for a 3 man defence? Tunchev Mills Bamba? Tunchev is one of the best defender's we have!

Tunchev Mills Bamba? Tunchev is one of the best defender's we have! His the best but if he been wounded again it´s not for 5 weeks it´s...... And what have we then? I´m also think he is good but if?

Itsthejoeker Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 Fourth OfficialCrystal Palace are close to extending Tunchev's original one month loan deal from Leicester #LCFC #CPFC
bettso Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 Didn't look too hot on the FLS. Was all over the place. First thing Stringer has said for months that I agree with when he said that players get better in the minds of the fans when they're not playing.
