Guest MattP Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 We'll just carry on conceding 2 goals until November then.
accessory Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 This is awful news. Crystal Palace will be 10 points ahead of us come November. Sven = twat You do know Tunch is partnering Paddy McCarthy at Palace? Remember him, that bombscare who makes Sol Bamba look like Nemanja Vidic? That said, Sven has more faith in St Ledger and Ball than many of us do..
Tuna Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 DAMN YOU SVEN WAKE UP AND GET TUNCH BACK ST LEDGER IS CRAP
Joe. Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Are you listening to yourselves? As if he's just going to come straight back into the team after the best part of two seasons out with Matt Mills, Sol Bamba and Sean St Ledger all vying for places. Not even sure it was worth the 30 seconds to type this out.
act smiley Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 While I can understand the need for a few games to get back up to speed after a long time out, surely that's what the last month has been for? I mean, he's already made Paddy McCarthy look like an actual footballer for a month, what more can he do ?
Wymsey Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 I don't see him having a chance under Sven. Edit: Why am I being moderated?...
Ozwin Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Probably just to test that he can actually play for a reasonable amount of time. Either that or this is a trial type period, try before you buy type thing before January. I hope not but if we can make a bit of money rather than get rid for nothing (like we could have done in the summer) then it's better than nowt I guess. I hope not mind, I wuv him.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Wanted him back here, far better than SSL and will put pressure on Mills and Bamba
Thracian Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Are you listening to yourselves? As if he's just going to come straight back into the team after the best part of two seasons out with Matt Mills, Sol Bamba and Sean St Ledger all vying for places. Not even sure it was worth the 30 seconds to type this out. Tunchev's had a full pre-season including as good a match programme as the club has been through for years so I'd be inclined to pose the question the other way around...how the hell would our new signings expect to walk into the team over Tunchev? Two goals a game conceded isn't convincing if we're seriously expecting to get promotion and that despite us committing everything to reinforcing our defence so far except a couple of lorry loads from Ketton Cement.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Would have liked to have seen him back now given the way Mills has started but I can understand this. The deal's only until November, if Sven had no intention of ever using him, or wanted to sell him, then it would have been until January. Gives him the chance to further prove his fitness and get back into the swing of things.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Mixed. Hit a free kick which KO-ed a Blackpool player. Did see that, was pretty funny. More a defensive player but did score a nice goal in the Asia Cup in Jan against South Korea
iancognito Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 To be honest, if Mills & Co carry on shipping 2 goals per game, Sven won't be here in November to recall him anyway. And I'd much rather he played games at Palace and made sure his knees were right rather than rotted in our reserves waiting for a call up.
Fox92 Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 You do know Tunch is partnering Paddy McCarthy at Palace? Remember him, that bombscare who makes Sol Bamba look like Nemanja Vidic? Did you see the higlights of Palace v Blackpool? McCarthy headed it along the ground back to the goalkeeper, Kevin Phillips intercepted it and scored
Simmo86 Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Lets see if our defence shores up a bit before we start getting all pissy about Tunchev hey?
sg6 Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 This may seem a silly question, but where exactly has this extended loan been officially confirmed? I cant find confirmation anywhere
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Sven knows what he's doing. Remember Tunch ain't had a run of games for two years! This is win for us and a great exercise to see if his fitness is good and his injuries are defo cleared up. People saying bring him back in place of St Ledger are mental, if Bamba and/or Mills gets crocked can you really bank on him to play a run of games at present? No.
panky and our gang Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Why not he's had no problems at Palace so far ?
Dicko Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Based on one[ decent season in League One over two seasons ago, why are people building up Tunchev as some sort of Baresi/Maldini hybrid? He is a reasonable centre-half, but id have Mills, Bamba and SSL ahead of him any day of the week! If he's getting games at Palace then let him stay there for a proper length of time to see if he can really cut it at this level. If he can then bring him back in January and he can fight for his place. Let's remember we did him a favour by not just turfing him out in the summer after we'd been paying his wages for two years in return for fvck all! And are people really thick enough to write off SSL as "crap" after one poor performance? Give it a rest you fvcktards.
Leicester Lass Posted 1 September 2011 Posted 1 September 2011 Let's remember we did him a favour by not just turfing him out in the summer after we'd been paying his wages for two years in return for fvck all! That's what insurance is for, we won't have paid it.

artursteppe Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 From what I have heard Palace have won three with Tunch - he has apparently played very well - been centre back in a 'pick of the league team' already and with that information on top of the quality most of us know he has, I must admit I am bemused that we have let Palace have him back. One thing is for sure, most people who have seen him probably think he should be playing for us, albeit that they may disagree on who should be left out! He is already back in the Bulgarian squad as well.
themotivator Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 if he is getting on as well as he seems to then we should not rule out a place in the squad for him. then we would have four decent CBs to chose from.
Wymsey Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 If he plays later on, I want him to do quite well. If so, I doubt he'll the full 90 imo.
