  1. 1. Should we do The Poznan?

I was open minded about the poznan because people should be able to celebrate how they like. But I have to say I am finding more cringeworthy every time i see it. Literally every team we play says it makes us look tinpot and Im afraid i now agree. Either everyone needs to do it or no-one because having 1 or 2 blocks doing it on there own just looks silly.

Why do we have to tailor our celebrations to what the opposition think? If they don't like it then fu(k 'em.

tell you what really annoys me it's that version of sloop John B - I wanna go home, I wanns go hoooome, (your town's) a hithole, I wanna go home. It's pathetic and every club sings it away from home. Just don't see the relevance as the away fans are not there to see the town they are there to watch the football. If you sing that then you aren't there for your team but a day outing in said city. Pile of wank that song.

Dont mind the Poznan. We coppied it off Man City, they coppied it of Poznan - so what. Most football songs have been copied. Just like Arsenal had the first Spion Kop, then Liverpool, then all clubs had a spion kop - so what?

I think we should do a dance instead, slide to the right then slide to the left and clap our hands between each slide.

I didn't know that Arsenal had the first Spion Kop (before Highbury??) but when did we get ours ?? I always thought it was before Anfield (not sure why) :dunno:

no

its crap and not ours

why would we want to copy a bunch of dirty mancs anyway?

That's a refreshing, interesting and original argument.

The Grecque always struck me as something you do a few times to make an impact because it's original, different, looks impressive and takes the opposition by surprise.

It serves none of these purposes, now. It's now just an immensely camp celebration that brings about more mocking than anything else. Do Lech even still do it or was it just a passing phase for them?

Move like bernie, like Pelts & Danns goal celebration on the opening day at Cov

It would be ours & not a copy of a copy

(for those that want to, of course)

Surely let's all do the Bernie, let's all do th Bernie..............Aaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhh..............

Is original and ours and would confuse the **** out of the opposition.

Oh no, not this again :frusty:

Second thought, f%&k it...

haha

I'm on that picture woo! :scarf: (not one of the boring sods)

TBF I've gone off it. It's not spontaneous or even fun anymore. Just jump around and go mental to the same tune we do the Poznan to.

Even this small change would make it 50% more bearable.

Absolutely HAS to be done in unison or we'll look like a pot of blue goo coming to the boil.
